Yes, myLot is back, BUT...

Hi Neil, I started one discussion when it came back and the alerts on that were working fine. The alerts from others only ever work erratically anyway, that's to say I certainly never get them all but never realise as probably get at least half so I just always presume they all are working. So they are back to my normal as it were without any improvemnt. The pm alerts were the only thing which worked over the weekend I think. I still await the day when we'll get notifiers on second responses, it's all very well saying we can see them from the bottom of the started list but sometimes it takes an awful lot of trawling around trying to find the person in question.

My e-mail notification is off, that is why i do not know if have received notifications for all my activities.As with my experience since yesterday,so far so good. we will see tonight what will happen if our earnings will increase or not, maybe they are still trying to fix in terms of e-mail notifications.

I was not here when Mylot was down as I work nights with Mylot and got here right after it was working normal again, I guess. I seem to be getting all of my notifications coming in as usual so I hope it is fixed now.

Well, notifications thru emails can be edited. You may opt to receive notifications only when a friend approves your friend request, when somebody comments on your post or started discussion, when you subscribed to new discussions by interest and the like. So, your question about these notifications may not be applicable to the other members.

I think everything is normal. Thank goodness. I could post responses to new discussions. During the glitch, I was only able to respond to a day old or more discussions not new ones. Since yesterday, I receive email notifications again that comments were left on my old discussions. The discussions I participated in were also acknowledged through email notifications. Most of all, the task I was working on was finally approved yesterday. So yes, everythng is normal for me.

Yes i do received but not as often as I sued to before. Maybe Ii have not left so many comments yet to have the usual email I am receiving before. But I am glad they are back and is functioning like it was before.

It seems the problems have been solved in Mylot. I can receive the normal notifications without problems. Today I posted one new discussion so far, and I received notifications from people who responded to it. And I am also busy with responding others' discussions. And I received their feedback, too. I love China

Wow! I'm glad I was too busy to come in here this past weekend! I've heard about this glitch from two sources now. Just how bad was it? I'm glad I missed it!!! I do remember that, on Friday I believe it was, I stopped receiving email notifications early in the morning and didn't receive any all day. Maybe that was Saturday but I think it was Friday. I guess I was lucky to have so many things to do this weekend! Our weather has taken a very sudden deep dive in temperature so I've been battening down the hatches, getting ready for the really cold weather. I guess this is my experience after the glitch since it's the first time I've logged in since Friday. I should say that it all seems normal to me. I've received tons of email notifications, although I'm not sure when I received them. I don't think I received them this past weekend, though. One thing I've noticed since joining myLot is that when we post a discussion and it is commented on, then we respond to that comment and another response comes after ours, we are not notified. Sometimes, I don't even know that I've gotten comments at all but those times are rare. Exactly what happened this weekend?

I am still wondering though, I get from friends discussions, my own discussions, but not on people comments at my notification.

hi neildc. how are you? although my email notification is on, neverthless i seldom check my mail. usually i check all the dis posted or responded me in daily basis. it is my system to be up to date with mylot. so i was totaly ignore about that problem. thanks

hi neil, well were here once again, but not so long not like before.. really mylot was out for a while?? i never noticed it, because i just came by now.. .. i hope it's okay already, i don't turn the notify on to all my friends, and maybe that's why i can't receive them in my email..
