I'm usually not hungry when I wake up and it takes me a good hour before I even can try to eat something. Even then, most the time all I have is a fruit or a yogurt. I see people eating donuts first thing in the morning and I think YUCK! I don't know how they can eat that so early. I think my body just isn't ready to eat as soon as i get out of bed... especially since I'd usually rather stay in bed :)

I have found in your response quite a lot same as mine . I can't understand the reason that why I don't feel like taking breakfast very soon after waking up. Got to know the reason . Have a nice time.

Yes , it is very necessary for taking breakfast and all the more important when you are attending school for a long duration. For a healthy routine it is always important not to skip meals. Keep it Up.

I will consider a meal eaten a hour or and half after waking up breakfast. It can also depend on the time of course. I normally wake up around 6:30ish depending whether I have a class or not.I have breakfast around 7 or 7:15. I always have whole wheat raisin bread and coffee in the morning tee hee.

I have to take a pill one hour before eating so I eat an hour after I wake up. I just started drinking a full glass of water with the pill and feel really good after that. I am also 'religious' about having a very healthy breakfast. Cottage cheese and 2 or 3 fruits every single morning and never get tired of it because I vary the fruit.

This is an interesting discussion, and they say that breakfast is the most important meal of the day because it gives you the energy to start your day,and I am sure that different people have their breakfast at different times,me and wife have slim fast for breakfast every morning unless we run out and then we have yogurt or something else that is healthy and we always have it within like an hour of us waking up and it holds us over until lunchtime since it controls hunger for four hours, which helps us not snack between breakfast and lunch, have a great day, good luck with your life, and all of your mylotting goals, and Happy Posting.

I am the same with breakfast, I just don't seem to feel hungry when I get up. There have been a few days when I have felt slightly hungry when I woke up, but most of the time I feel like I can quite happily wait a few hours before needing to eat. However, I try to eat breakfast every morning because it is suppose to kick start your metabolism for the day and keep you slim.

Hi champrocker, How soon? Immediately. My tummy actually wakes me up in the morning, it's my "alarm clock" for breakfast. Right after waking up I go to the kitchen to prepared breakfast, otherwise my stomach would really be "upset". Breakfast is so much a a part of my routine and I won't be able to function well during the day if I don't have it.

Breakfast is a must for me. I feel hungry as soon as my eyes are open when I wake up LOL. But I won't eat straight away though. I usually have breakfast in about 30 minutes because that time I would have finished getting dressed and ready to go to work.
