Anyone else have a cold?

Well since our weather has taken to being pretty cold in the past couple of weeks. Everyone in my house has come down with some kind of cold. I think I have a light sinus infection as it doesn't hurt but the rest of the ick of it is there. The kids have/had colds all to one degree or another. My middle was coughing so hard last week that she would end up puking. Poor thing, thankfully that has past.
I like fall and the holidays but I certainly hate the cold/flu season. Just no fun for anyone at all.

i don't per se,but when i woke up this morning my lungs and nose hurt.
i hope i'm not getting pneumonia or something..i feel fine otherwise tho.

today it feels better-i'm wondering if maybe the air in the house was drying.
it was quite uncomfortable yesterday tho.

Last week I had terrible cold. It made my nose run or get blocked up. It gave me headache and ear pain too. I got a cough afterwards and a nasty sinus infection. I am feeling a little better today but still not as strong as usual. Good luck getting better from your cold.

nasty sinus infections are awful. That's probably what gave you the headache as well as ear pain. I had one so bad all I could do is cry, take pain relievers, and sit w/ a heating pad on my face. But they haven't been as bad as that since I had sinus surgery.

I don't have a cold but I do have allergies or something. My nose is stuffed up and yet it runs like a waterfall! Sneezing, a little coughing. No fever or aches that come with a cold and no general unwell feeling. But it's very uncomfortable!
I hope your family gets better soon.

Oh yeah, the cold bug is visiting our home too. My son had a cold two weeks ago then it went away, now this week it's back again. My daughter has now started with a cough since yesterday. My nose has been dripping for two days also. I'm sure my husband is next. Tis the season.

Aww..poor thing! I live in a tropical country and now the rainy season is starting. I woke up with sore throat yesterday morning and it was really irritating. I couldn't swallow my food because it hurted so bad. The only thing that helped was warm water. I am now pregnant and I notice that I become sensitive toward weather changes which never happens before. Thank God now I feel better, my throat is still uncomfy but at least the pain has vanished. Hey,
Feel bad for you.. but cheer up, take a few steps towards beating the cold and you will be back to normal in no time. I do one or all of these to get me back on my feet!
- a bowl of chicken clear soup
- a dish of spicy crabs
- a vaporiser or balm applied all over the nose, forehead and throat to get rid of the mucus, followed with a nice splash of hot water.
