Would you prefer to be a famous rather than be normal?

I have been mad on the drama called Hannah Montana recently. In it, a girl, who has two identities, is a normal student and daughter named Miley under the stage, but on the stage, she becomes a super star, Hannah Montana. When she is Miley, she isn't always noticed, but she certainly can do everything she want. When she changes to be Hannah, she is absolutly noticed and must care what she says and what she does. I mean, everyone likes to be loved and noticed. it's human's nature, because we all need love and care, which won't be too much for us forever. But it also brings us prince. when you becomes famous, your behaviour need to be considerd more. You even can't do a normal thing because people are crazy in following you wherever you go. However, a normal people won't be treated like that, there aren't millions of people remembering his birthday or interests, but he can go shopping and do some boring but funny thing with his friends whenever he wants. So for you, which one do you prefer?

I haven't seen that movie yet. But regarding your question, I prefer to live a normal life. I'm sort of a loner so living a famous life would be very stressful for me.

Too much attention. Everyone would be waiting for you to make a mistake and when you finally do, healdine news. And for what?! For acting normal? That sounds ridiculous if you ask me. I'd rather live a life under-the-radar as opposed to being judged and having all my actions tallied. Have fun, love life!

i would else add that, in case i would be a famous person I'd like to be famous in an intellectual circle: as a writer and not to be a famous person on gossip news. Lol

Hi Icicle, I guess everybody wants to become famous, but sometimes being famous made your life so abnormally miserable like the a lot of our artist. Just being a child of a public figure present problems as they were being compared with their famous parents. As for me i prefer to be normal. It presents a better life...

hi icicle nice topic,i used to think about it.well i prefer to be somewhat famous in your school or life as it gives people a sense of selfesteem.I can be wrong but iam just expressing my feelings here.being a celebrity is another thing, they are totally in other words sacrificing their whole life to media or to public like us. When i was a teen i always wanted my friends to listen to whatever stupidness iam talking just because iam a popular girl which gave me a sense of power.THere are people whom i know in real life will make up stories so that they will get attention from others --this can be related to what you have mentioned above. I think there would be not even one person in this world who might have craved for attention and might have been jealous at others who gets it.

There are lots of famous people who are not chased by fans and then there are some that are never left alone to live there life. There are some famous people who love all the attention that their fans give them. A normal person does have their family and friend remember their birthday. It would be nice to be famous and have all that attention and not have to worry about paying bills. But that will not happy so I guess I will be a normal person.

Hi Icicle Well i would definitely want to be the normal person, i am a little shy and even if i got so good at drums and become famous one day i don't think i will have a nice time being famous ... although i like to fantasize myself being a little popular on the stage but certainly i would not wish to become the popular one, i just want to be normal and known as a nice kid, that's as simple as that. have a nice day Icicle!

Oh, without a doubt...i wanna be famous, i wanna be a star, i wanna be in movies, i wanna see the world, drive nice cars, i wanna have groupies. It sucks to be a normal person. Everything i do seems ordinary even if it is not. Famous people can always get what they want. Sometimes they don't need to look for things it is already been brought to them. I want to live like a rockstar even just for a day, that will make my life complete.

I would rather be a normal person. Fame can be very disturbing and definitely demanding. There is no doubt that people will scream when they see you and chase you for autographs, but there is another side to all this. Maintaining one's fame is never easy. There are people waiting to sslip the ladder under you and waiting to see you fall with a loud 'thud.' Look what happened to MJ. He was a star and there was noone on earth who didn't know him. However, he led a life in isolation. he had enough money, a wonderful ranch, lovely kids, and fame? Isn't this what we all dream of? and what happened to him? Thank you ma'am, but I'd rather remain a normal person. Maybe I don't ave the money to enjoy in life, but I don't have to stay reclusive all the time.

Everybody wants to be famous. When I was young I want to be a famous figure in the society but now I don't dream of being famous anymore. I realized that I don't need to be famous instead I want to be recognized for the things I do. I want to live my life normally and simply.

Personally, I would rather be a normal person, that some rich spoiled celebrity. Dont get me wrong I enjoy watching the television shows and movies they produce, and I also thinks half of them are actually talented, But magazines and shows like enews can take the whole being a celebrity thing too far. On top of it all, Celebrities have no privacy at all... I recently requested Taylor Lautner as a friend on myspace...and two days after he started a new verfied profile, someone hacked it... Seriously, its insanne, I like my normal life, and wouldnt change it for a thing, not even the money, and especially not the fame.

i'think i prefer on being a normal one, we all know that being famous like a star is very nice to feel, but knowing the fact that gossips, rumors, and controversies are there always following you when you're famous, so i'd rather be a normal one, living a simple life.. anyway the one who created us is always being simple and normal, but still he's always be famous to every one of us..

Hi there mylotter, Absolutely right that everyone likes to be loved and noticed. But for me it has not to be a famous to obtain such treatment. I am happy being me now, a mother who has 2 children and loved by my hubb and my parents and my sists. I dont know if i have a different situation like Hannah Montana, if i were her, i just do my best without sacrificing my self and family. Thanks, and have a nice day

Honestly I prefer to be a normal person, because i know being famous is not just being adored and idolized. Many people got insecure in famous peple and ended up destroying them. Famous people doesnt live a normal and peaceful life. Although they have all the things that they wanted, they had the attentions and everything. But are theyr eally happy? I dont think so. It muche better to be not recognize and adored but live a simple and peaceful life.

I don't want to be famous as such. But I did train as an actor so there must be a certain level of attention seeking going on...lol... I think I would like to work in certain areas, for the sake of the work itself, and sometimes fame comes as a by product, for some people - I suppose it depends how you deal with it. To a certain extent you cannot avoid a little intrusion into your life, but I do know actors who live fairly normal lives and manage to keep their private lives private.

I would love to be famous. I would not want to be famous for my looks or for my talent in singing, dancing, or acting. I would want to be famous for major accomplishments I have been a part of! I could not imagine being in the spotlight of one of the tabloids. I would not mind being a famous role model either.
