My daughter and I went to see this movie over the weekend and were GREATLY disappointed. My daughter loves and movie about hauntings and was so excited when she saw the previews for this movie only to go and be let down. Has anyone else seen it yet? what did you think?

Haven't even heard of it yet, but I watched Clive Barkers Blood book the other night and was so disappointed. I need a good scary movie it's almost Halloween!

Really?..wow that sucks because I was really excited to watch this movie. I'm okay with the whole camcorder idea because they used the same thing on cloverfield and it was awesome! I have seen many great reviews on this movie, so I'm still gonna watch it. I hope it's good! lol

Well, I ended up watching it and I'm really glad I did. The boyfriend kept making me laugh and the night time scenes were awesome. I can honestly say it was the scariest movie I have ever seen.

I myself have not seen it, but a LOT of my friends have. They all say the same thing you did, that they were VERY disappointed in the movie. I even had one friend say it was a big disappointment to her and she LOVES scary movies and things dealing with the paranormal. I think I will just stick to watching Ghost Hunters and the like on youtube. It is sure a lot cheaper.
Anyway, just my 2 cents worth :)

That is a good idea because between almost getting motion sick from the hand held camcorder technique and watching 2 people sleep for about an hour you are much better off watching ghost hunters or lost tapes.
