This man makes astounding and beautiful sidewalk creations. You can see them here: http://www.funenclave.com/snapshots/the-chalk-guy-is-back-29937.html They are 3D and look so real! I wish I had his talent. Would you like to see something like this on the sidewalks of your cities? I think they are beautiful and I would really enjoy seeing some of these on our sidewalks downtown.

I have only seen things like this on the TV, but it is so clever, and looks so beautiful. I would love to see something like that in our home town. I have seen it done also, on a beach, with sand. Absolutely amazing!!

I haven't seen the sand art but I'd love to. Wouldn't our cities be beautiful with things like this in them? Even looked at using the wrong angle, the colors are lovely.

That is so cool. i really love anamorphism (that's what it is called, right?) i haven't seen anything like that in person and i would really want to have some of those in our place. too bad we are having rainy (even typhoony) season right now and i am sure flooding will just ruin those artworks.. really love them!!! i am just wondering how do these artworks look like in another angle because obviously, these type of paintings are only meant to be seen in one viewpoint so it might be weird looking at them in another perspective. i am really curious.

That's a great question! Here's the answer: http://www.guzer.com/pictures/woman_sidewalk_art.php It still looks rather odd and entertaining even at that angle! I wonder if there is some kind of sealant that he could put on it in case of rain? I've been hearing about all the rain you have had and how destructive it has been--your country has been in my prayers for the past couple of weeks.

Thanks for the link, that helped me. I knew it was gonna be odd but I didn't realize until now that one artwork can actually take up that huge of a space. I really admire those artists. it really takes more than just painting skills to be able to come up with such optical illusions. i personally think that these painters are way way better than ordinary painters, would you agree? thank you so much also for the prayers. I myself is a victim of the flooding. Our village was soaked in waist-deep water and mud! I hope that never happens again..
