Humour has a definite positive impact in human life. A smiling face generally never faces a word "no". Humour at workplace increases working speed, working skill, team spirit, cohession, cooperativeness. Everybody loves a smiling person. Do you think that humour at workplace is helpful?

yes, humor plays a great role in everything. they say that filipinos always find a way to laugh despite the hardships that they face. i remember watching some interviews of victims of the back-to-back typhoons. they may have been severely affected by the floods and rains, yet they always find time to spark a little joke when they recalled how they struggled in the floods. in the office, we always have the time to laugh at each other's jokes and i feel it is doing good for us. it promotes camaraderie and yes, as u said it, cohesion. that is a kind of bonding with co-workers.

Humour anywhere is golden. It livens up the atmosphere and brings a smile to your lips and makes the world a better place, unless it is sarcastic and you are the but of the joke. But to laugh is the best thing one can do, and even biologically it exercises no less than 12 muscles in your faces. What a great thing to be able to work beside a person with a sense of humour. The drudgery of routine work goes away making you look forward to more work with an easiness of mind for your tension and worries are gone and you have the hint of a smile always on your lips remembering the last gem from your humourous colleague.

Yes, humor is very helpful in working. Intellectual humor can be inserted with the goals and targets of work. When I was working and leading a team, I make the rules "Banned in the room, for those who can not smile". During work in the office or on the field, we never stopped to joke. As a result, no one felt the job as a burden.
