Smokers Airline?

November 14, 2006 7:21am CST
It was on the news a few days ago, that a German entrepreneur is setting up an airline (Smintair) for smokers so that they can smoke on long haul flihts. It would be the first international airline that would allow smoking again on flights. What do you think of this idea? Apparently the first flights will take off in March 2007.

As long as I can still ride in smoke free planes, doesn't matter.

I'm sure that won't change :-)

I think this is a bit ridiculous. If people cannot retain from smoking for a few hours, it is really bad for them! Anyway, this airline will never have me for a client.

Apparently, this airline changes the way it provides air into the cabin. Unlike other airlines (who use recycled or recirculated air that may cause headaches in a lot of passangers) this airline will take air directly from outside and treat that before it blows it into the cabin. So the ari would be of better quality actually than on normal airlines. Of course, this process is more expensive but their tickets will fetch for quite some money too.
