Hi all, finally in Oklahoma !
If you all remember, I have a half lab and half ? who I was so afraid would not do well on the trip here.
HOOOORAAAYYY, she did really great !!
She only had 3 pills that the vet gave me to give her, but she settled in quite nicely in the back of my car and we made it just great:)
I am soooooo proud of her.
Thanks to all who resonded to my fears :)

I bet she made a terrific traveling companion. I know I missed part of this, why were you going from Montana to Oklahoma? Are you staying in Oklahoma? Where are you in Oklahoma? I visit there often. You can pm me if you choose to. I hope the weather was great for you as well as your dog.

She worried me too bad. She was a better traveler than I was LOL, but then she didn't worry 'bout me :(
I lived in Oklahoma for over 50 yrs and we wanted to live in MT and I moved up there and stayed for 7 years.
My mama lived in this house and she passed away in Jan of this year.
My husband and I will be staying here for the winter months anyways.
I live in a small town called Elgin, just north of Ft. Sill OK.
Where do you visit in OK???
I was/am tired of plowing snow and I also had two heart attacks in May and didn't want to be in all that snow if I had trouble and needed an ambulance I could be stuck---
but, still MT is not a place to live in the winter.
It's my hopes tho to stay here in OK cuz my son and daughter in Law and my three grandsons are here:)
I have missed them !!
This will be the first Thanksgiving and Christmas I've had in over 7 years now.
It's just nice to be back home. I do miss my mama but she left me her house and I am making the most of it.
Let me know where you visit and if we are close maybe we can meet.
I probably should have pm'd ya but didn't, but you can always pm me too:)

My brother pastors a church in Guthrie, Dad lives in Northwest OKC. I have nephews in Moore/Norman, and a Niece in Yukon. I grew up in Midwest City.

My nickname does not have anything to do with my real surname. It starts with a C and is very easy to guess. My nick is derived from a soccer player Ronaldo who used to play for my favourite team Inter (Italy).

Yes we made the trip from MT to OK ok and seems like only yesterday!
But did fine and have settled in and really OK Is my home state.
I have friends in MT that I do miss but I have my son and grand kids
here in OK.

Yep, she did great!!!
She's even adapting to a fenced in yard which surprises me.
She worried me yesterday when a neighbor was walking by with her dog, Sailer--my Galeena barked and growled but kinda think they'd be fine if given a chance.
Labs are great dogs.
