There was a time when I used to hate mint flavor, bot now it is one of my favorite flavors. I have a friend who is addicted to mint flavor. You can only see her with a 'Polo' in her mouth. The liquid comes with 'Panipuri' my favorite chat item has mint flavor. What about you? Do you lilke mint (pudina) flavor? What are your favorite mint-flavored dishes?

That is one of my favorite. I like the mint (pudina) chutney with aloo parathas. mint is good for digestion. but i do not like Polo. Panipuri is good if you are having in occassionally. it has too much of ingredients that are not good for stomach. probably that is the reason mint is used.

Thanks for your response. I like panipuri a lot. I love to have it everyday. But, I know that it is not good for health to have often and now I have controlled it. But, I am tempted to eat whenever I have street panipuri stall. I love to have mint chutney with dosa, idly, and tandoori chicken. I also make pudina rice sometimes. It is very good to have pudina rice with onion salad.

Yes, I like mint. I always buy the coolest-flavor mint candy. So many of my friends always refuse to taste them. But I think that's okay. But as you see, mint-flavored dishes are not common in China. So I don't know if I will like them right now. If there is any chance, I will try them! But I really like mint-flavored candy and ice-cream. It's cool! And enjoy mint-flavored food and mylotting!

I liked mint flavor since childhood. I used to eat mint candies similar to polo, except that they did not have a hole in the center and were cheaper. I also used to eat another type of mint candy. It was like a slightly round. I used to eat that when I had cold and I also used to feel better. I also tried mixing the mint leaf juice in milk. Made it into milk shake and ice cream. I liked it very much.

I do not like peppermint toffees or the polo with mint flavor. But when it comes to fresh mint leaves i love its fragrance and also the chutney prepared from it. This chutney can be used as a side dish with any type of paratha. It can be used as a base when you prepare a bread sandwich. It has an excellent taste. Some people use mint leaves for garnishing like the coriander leaves.

Any mint or mentol-based food, oil and ointment is an "addiction" for me. As flavor for chocolates, icecream and cakes mint mixed with other flavors taste so good. Mint leaves with noodle soup tastes so great! Aromatherapy oil and ointment that is mint-scented (peppermint and euchalyptus) is really relaxing and soothing for me.

Scientifically proven fact is that Mint is quite good for health and it helps a lot in digestion. In a party or function, after a heavy diner, if you consume a little amount of pudina/Mint, it helps in the digestion process to a great extent. Moreover Indian food are rich in Masala's and other spicy substance which cause a great hindrance to the digestive process and Pudina helps to recover from that ailment. Thanks for starting the discussion and have a great day. Happy Mylotting. Cheers:-)
