Are smart people dumb when it comes to love?

I do hear that phrase a lot. Smart people are dumb when it comes to love. Do you actually believe in it? I don't consider myself as a really smart guy but I'm sure I'm not dumb. And when it comes to love I do think and weigh things over. Who among you here fellow myLotters are living proof that it's true? Speak up.

I think love is just powerful and makes every one's guard drop. Still must love with the heart and brain. I think people tend to take advantage regardless so it makes smart people look dumb.

oh yes that is likely to be the reason. Funny you said it, cause lately I am under that spell again, and hope its the last time. I found a woman who I am terribly and happily in love with. Yeap she is in Europe and I am in USA, so this cat is going to go find her and marry her next year. At leas that is the plan.

I think it's true for some people and for me. When they fall in love,some people get to lose their own opinions.They think they love their lovers so they must sacrifice some of their own will even though the idea is wonderful.

Well you're right. But maybe it won't come to the point where in you will totally forget about how things work right? For sure you still can think what's wrong or right and there's a great percentage that you'll choose the right thing to do. Thanks for sharing. :)

I don't think there's anyway to know for sure this is true but from my own experience my Xhusband was very smart but was very dumb as far as our love relationship went. It's been over for years Thank God.
