Should drinking be illegal?

I think that adults should be able to do as they wish, and as long as they do not get behind a wheel of a car after drinking they should be allowed to. Why do people keep wanting to take things away from us all the time. I do not drink at all but i would never try to take it away from anyone else if that is what they want to do

I can see where that would seem appealing but the prohibition experiment has been tried. It didn't work well. Just gave rise to thriving new illegal business and more crime.
