Have you ever written a guest post?!

I do not have a blog post so I have never guest worte in one. Maybe in the future I might do someting like that but not now. for now I no desire to create a blog.

I have a blog and have not had much luck with it at all. I have done guest posts for other people though. I have had a few done on mine also. I have not had good results with it though.

I have written for other blogs, and have gained some traffic as a result. Not a lot, but every little bit helps. It all depends on the blog you trade posts with, their traffic, quality, and the subject matter. I'm with a new group of bloggers who work together to help promote each others blogs and generate traffic for them. We trade posts, do link exchanges, trade trackbacks, tweet each other's blogs, etc. If you're interested, let me know. It's a private group by invitation only.

This is a really interesting idea...no, I have never tried it. How exactly do you score an invitation to write for someone else's blog? I mean, I know *major* blogs like The Huffington Post and The Daily Beast get famous people to write for them, but what about small time people like me? :) I don't know how that exchange of ideas really works on the smaller level...perhaps you have to build more recognition as a blogger than I have been able to do so far.
