Do you have a dog, if so what breed? How big is the dog and how much do you feed it? How much food do you feed your dog at one time and how much food in a day? Do you think your dog is heavy?

This is the day that I wanted to start 10 discussions. However, this discussion was a little bit of a research question, not asking if you would eat your animal. Why, what did scheng say now?
There is no way I am going to reach payout this month. I only have $2. Any suggestions. LOL

I go by whats on the dog food bag, now they most likely go overboard on the amount so you buy more BUT if the dog starts getting overweight just cut back some . my daughter feeds her lab 2 1/2 cups a day and the dog is always looking for food and i dont think thats right , the dog is always hungry thats why i go by the recomendations on the bag. just make sure you DON'T feed him or her, GARLIC ONIONS ESPECIALLY GRAPES OR RAISINS THEIR DEADLY TO DOGS AND IF YOU USE ARTIFICIAL SWEETNER MAKE SURE THE DOG CANT FIND ANY DROPPED STICK OF GUM OR SUGAR PACK USED FOR COFFEE OR TEA, ALSO DEADLY. AFTER 9 YEARS I JUST LOST MY LHASO TO DIABETES, AND JUST BOUGHT A YORKIE PUPPY, MY BIG DOG DAYS ARE OVER, ALSO USE DRY FOOD IT WILL KEEP THEIR TEETH CLEAN . I USED TO GIVE MINE STEAK BONES THEN A CUP OF DRY FOOD TO CLEAN HIS TEETH, THAT CANNED SUPERMARKET STUFF IN MY OPINION IS GARBAGE FOR 2 BUCKS XTRA GO TO PETSMART OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT AND GET A GOOD DRY FOOD ( BUT NOT THAT SCIENCE DIET STUFF) ITS EXPENSIVE AND I HAVE YET SEEN A DOG THAT LIKES IT. AND AS GOOD AS IT LOOKS STAY AWAY FROM BENEFUL BRAND DOG FOOD ITS 1 OF THE WORST ON THE MARKET. ALSO WHEN LOOKING FOR A DOG FOOD READ THE INGREEDIENTS AND MAKE SURE SUGAR IS NOT 1 OF THE FIRST 4-5 THINGS IN IT. THE LESS SUGAR THE BETTER OFF THE DOG WILL BE. GOOD LUCK

Sorry to hear about your big dog. I am glad you found a little one to keep you company.
I wasn't sure the dog food bag would be accurate. It seemed like a lot of food to me. I don't want my poor dog not to be able to walk. You hear so much about the hip problems. I want to get a dog but I am trying to research out how much the food will cost. LOL I also wanted to know which brand might be best. Your info was extremely helpful.

If you ask this question in Thailand, they will think that you want to cook dog for dinner.
People in Thailand and certain part of China still eat dog and cat. Many of them are so poor that eating meat, any meat, is a luxury enjoyed once or twice a year. That's why they can eat everything and anything.
