It depends on your definition of small business. You've gotta think of the cost to start up said business and if your sure it will work for you...

I just found a legitimate data entry website @ www.dataentryforall.net, and after signing up with this website i was able to make $130 the first day, $180 the second day...and increasing. SO i will recommend anyone that is jobless or who needs a boost of economy to try the program offered by the website.

I was paid $450 today(friday) through paypal. NOTE: If you sign up with them,it is the real home jobs that you should do. But you can also do others for more money(I personally do the real home jobs because i don't have much time).

That IS a good idea! I also want to add that offering to do laundry, pick up groceries, or clean or cook for elderly is a good idea as well... Though don't expect or charge too much to these folk!

I make homemade fudge and cookies. How would I be able to make money by selling these items? Would I need to get a permit of some kind?

It's a great idea to sell. I'm not quite sure if you'll need a permit or not, but I think you should be able to call the local Register of Deeds office to find out. I'm not sure if that's the right place to call or not to be honest, but it's worth a try.

The economic cycles of ups and downs will always come and go. What's important is that we all still remain here. We need to have a right mindset that no matter how the situation is, we are here to stay. I learn that internet marketing and programs can actually add to our income, whether little or a lot. That's why today, I still faithfully continue to venture into the world of cyber to earn money. To me, there is no such thing as jobless. We need to create our own jobs or businesses. Even in China, just like any other country, people will need to have a right and positive mindset.

I pretty guess that being on my own after leaving my secured job takes more than just luck to make it out as an entrepreneur. Any negativeness will rob us of possible potentials for business opportunities. I have another great saying : You got to do your own growing, no matter how tall your grandfather is. This is an Irish proverb and one of my favourites. On and off, I do post wise quotes like this on my blog. Do visit me and support me there.

I could not agree more with this. I think there are ways to make money for your family as long as you are willing to work for it. Cyber seems like a good way to go because of the vast amount of options, but again, you have to work for it. The "right and positive mindset" is a great phrase and really seems like it captures my philosophy well. Just curious, where does that stem from?

I think online stuffs can help in the income a little bit. Try to write articles, and keep it on to gain some bits of revenue to help out while the economy regains its strength.

On such a situation better is to try for any online jobs. There are people who are making a decent monthly income from internet from online jobs.Even here in Mylot, there are members who are earning more than 100$ monthly from tasks. The Mylot Tasks they provided mainly to overcome this recession season. Happy Mylotting.

Higetbrowser, Look it has been almost 13 years since I have been a college teacher and drawing a good salary. If by chance tomorrow I happen to lose my job I would look for any job or work that would suit my skill.

There are many ways to earn money from sweeping floors to maintaining gardens to babysitting. One just has to be assertive and go and ask for work. Even a little money for 1 hour of working is more than no money.

hello get browser, well, I wouldn't be to discover mylot if i did have a job, right. for now, i am depending on online money making. to be honest, with the tighten situation and with many companies laying off, i don't think I would be able to have the qualities that they need in order to get a decent job now a days. every one who's unemployed needs a job right now, and more are graduating in schools.

I think earning online can be done fairly easily and you can earn a fair bit from writing online (e.g. Triond)doing surveys but there is no way that earning online can sustain a living. It would be better to have a job at McDonalds or something.

Though my work days have dropped from five to two days per week, I still feel that I'm one of the fortunate ones. At least I still have a job. To earn some extra money, I take care of neighbor's pets when they're out of town. I also trust God to provide for me everything I need and He always has.

To survive, you have to search every channel of survival opportunity. Not only in China, in the States, AND Europe, and other continents, people are keep on struggling day by day. To survive, we have to get jobs somehow, otherwise, you won't last for long. Government won't help you that much though.

Along with using affilliate accounts and MyLot _ I keep a close watch on craigslist.com/jobs and gigs. Often you can find part time jobs or contract gigs in all types of industries. Also - starting a small company with minimal start up cost is ideal. Ideas of a company such a this could be a) computer repair business, B) Lawn services C) handy man for retirement communities, etc. Best of wishes and good luck!
