Is advertisting misleading?

I've just seen a TV advert in which you are encouraged to pay into a health insurance scheme. If you ever get affected by womens cancer, you are eligible to up to £25,000 to pay for child care, treatment, holiday or just to keep paying the bills whilst out of work. Working in marketing, I immediately picked up on the terminology used - womens cancer. This meanst you won't get a penny (or cent) if you suffer from bowel cancer, lung cancer or any other not gender specific cancers, no matter how much you paid it. I wonder how many people miss this point. Do you think advertising can be misleading?
