Is storymash a place where you can post original stories? I saw a dissucsion earlier today where some asked if a site like that exissted. I had only heard of the writing article websites like associated content. If it's a place where you can write stories I may have to check that out.

One site I have been keeping busy with is "Review Stream". You can write reviews about a variety of things, things you come across in your day to to activities, shopping, movies, hotels, restaurants, music, and so on. Once accepted and approved, you get paid. I have been writing reviews there for over a year now, and getting paid regularly.

I happen to think that finding a steady online writing gig is the best way to go - whether you freelance for someone else, or take your own chances by writing a blog and monetizing it or writing on sites like eHow, Associated Content and Bukisa. About 90% of all my online earnings come from writing for someone else. It doesn't pay a lot, but it takes a lot of the risk out of my earnings. I write, submit and definitely get paid for it, as opposed to writing, submitting, crossing my fingers and praying that I get some cash out of it. :)

I would love to be able to find a website where I could steadily get paid for it. Mylot is great, but we know the payout is fairly minimal. I did have success with mylot for a week doing tasks but now it seems there's very few sharonbucks tasks to do this week. Does anyone know if that is normal. Does she usually post alot then not put many up for a week? How does that usually work?
