Has anyone seen my pandemic? I've looked everywhere!

This whole attempt to scare everyone over this supposed pandemic swine flu is becoming not only tiresome but irritating. First of all more people die of garden variety good old fashioned influenza in a year than the number of victims from this supposed mega epidemic of swine flu. The newscasters and world health organizations are making such a big deal about this thing you would think there was a case of swine flu in almost every household in America. I say don't believe the hype!
What is your take on this so called pandemic? Do you think that this swine flu virus is as bad or virulent as they say or are they trying to create a nationwide panic so they can sell us vaccines we don't need?

A mylotter posted something like swine flu was designed to eliminate human lives. That is scary enough, don't you think? Since there was a worldwide outbreak, we just have to be extra careful. No harm in obeying the tips.

There is nothing wrong with exercising prudence or precaution, as we do with the normal flu which makes the rounds every year. I just don't like the way the media and everyone is hyping this "pandemic" through the roof and terrorizing people until they feel like they have to go and get a dose of this experimental vaccine that they are not even certain works yet. I don't like putting experimental anything in my body!

You are absolutely right. I share the same feeling. We are not guinea pigs.
