The Best Weekend EVER!

I had the best weekend ever. My husband has been traveling a lot lately and it is really hard on me. This past weekend he was only a 4 hour drive away and I had no kids, so I decided to drive out to see him.
I have to tell you, it was like we were dating again. We went an aquarium and got pet stingrays and we went to an arcade and he won me a little pink mouse (I named him huggies).
We held hands and talked, if feels like forever since we were just able to enjoy spending time with each other without life getting the way.
Does anyone find hidden moments like this with their better half?

that really is a best weekend for you both. being with each other means a lot. me and my husband can't experience that right now because my husband is working abroad. but i'm sure when he arrives we'll going to have also the best weekend ever, not only best weekend but best days of our lives.

That does sound like a great weekend together - my husband and I rarely get chance to go away and just have a day out anymoire as our work paths cross so often so I do love it when we get our mini breaks away - our next one is in December and I am so looking forward to being away from work and home just for those few days on our own together!
