Yes! My grandson missed the bus the other morning and I was elected to take him to school. The school he usually goes to is very close but this year they have closed it to do some long needed remodeling. So, anyway, I did slip my jacket on and prayed I didn't get stopped by a policeman or saw anyone i knew.

Last year when my daughter was in kindergarten, it was a very common thing for me to drive her to school in my pajamas. She went to school on the other side of town from where we were living at the time, so I would just slip on a jacket and my pants and that was how I would take her to school. I think a lot of the reason that I did this is because I knew that once I got back home I was going to be laying back down in the bed. However, when I was in college, I also went to classes sometimes in pajamas because I was too lazy to get dressed in the morning.

Actually I did this on friday. A guy came over Thursday night. I took a shower right before he came and put on fresh makeup. When I woke up in the morning my makeup stll looked fresh. Usually I take a shower and then put on fresh makeup before going down town but because of that it usually takes me a few hours to get ready. So since my makeup still looked good I got out of the house as soon as the store opened. Then when I got home and knew I wouldnt be going out any more I took a shower and left my makeup off for the rest of the day and chilled out in nice comfortable clothes. But my point was that since I was in a hurry to get downtown I didnt want to put on fresh clothes and get them all dirty when I wore them downtown so I just slipped no a pair of jeans and tucked my satin nightie into my jeans and threw my winter coat over it and went down town and did what needed to be done. I see people who will wear like pajama bottoms around town and I would never do that. I wouldnt wear pajamas where someone could see me wearing them. Since my nightie was hidden no one but me would know I was wearing it.

hi jugsjugs oh you took me back many years. I was in my twenties and was with my best friend, she was a nurse and I an aide. we had to pick her sister up from the airport early one morning so we just left in our robes, nighties and slippers. we figured we would only be gone maybe forty five minutes at most a nd we would just go back to bed. wrong. we picked up her sister from the airport outside of town, then on our way back 'to Rapid City s.D. we had a blow out. kerplooey. wow. Of course we had to stop. Dottie my nurse friend was shaken up and worst of all, we did not have the jack in her trunk. oh oh. So we had to wait for help and luckily a s.D. highwaypatrol officer did come along. well he had a jack so between him and Dottie, still in her bathrobe, they got the spare tire on,and we proceeded on our way back home. The funny part about is that the officer, single, asked Dottie for a date. Nothing came of it, but she felt pretty flattered to think that the guy thought her attractive even in bathrobe and slippers. Oddly we stopped before going home to buy another tire, and the man she met inside the tire shop, later would be her husband. He also said to her she looked real cute in her robe and slippers.

Hi jugsjugs,i don't believe that i have. i've taken the garbage out to the curb at night wearing a nightgown and robe. and sure enough a police car drove by to see me in my froppy appearance. Now my Mother rode in my car once in her pajamas one nite. but her pjs often were mistaken for street wear so she could get by with it. the top & bottom were both plain and the color of fuschia. she ws a little hesitant but i told her it's be alright and it was.

No my daughter was driving and I was a passenger in my pj's. I told her God forbid if something happened that we ended up in an accident. This would be so embarrassing for me. Thank god everything turned out fine. We were just returning a movie at a Redbox Machine.

I have never driven my car in my bedwear. I would be too afraid to have an accident or something. I always at least slip on a pair of sweats and a t-shirt before leaving.

Yes, when my son was still living at home, I told him to always call if he needed picking up, no matter what time of day/night it was so there have been a few times that I've just dragged a big jumper over my pyjamas & gone.

I have done it a number of times, it is just easier to through on a jacket than have to change again if you have to run out in the evening after you have already changed for bed.

Yes. I've actually done it very often. When I drop a family member for an early "wet market" buying, when fetching someone in early hours, or simply buying some bread for breakfast.

Sure have! I've also gone grocery shopping and just walking around the neighborhood in my PJs. I don't care and no one says anything. It's all about comfort ;)
