It's a scam. They will likely ask you to send them $10 or something to get your prize. Do not reply. Do not even read. Delete immediately, and if you can, learn to block their Email. If they can get any information from you, even your Email, they will send it everywhere, and you'll get a million more scams. Ignore it, delete it, ban it, remove it, whatever... but don't send them *anything*.

I was getting a lot of them and all of them was fake. Its about 6 months back when i start getting such emails and then i investigated from the government related ministry through the website of that particular country. I found all of them fake and i have reported about 3 of them.

I have received so many mails of this kind..But I never cared about them and I will not even try to rad then once I know that the mail about the draw from the subject..Who will give us the money to the unknowns like us? They will ask our personal details at first and if we provide them, then they will start asking money from us for various reasons..Mos of such mails will be sent to the spam mails and even then everyday new senders are emerging and sending such mails..I don't think that they will get someone to get cheated. All the internet users are now aware of them.

Whatever you do, do not reply to those. These are illegal scams from another country claiming to be in a totally different country to gain your bank info, address and other personal things. After they get these things, it links them to your stuff and then you get your identity stolen. They are all over the place, some call it "phishing". It literally takes everything that you have built up in your life as far as credit, your name, reputation and such and uses it to take all that away and destroy you. They basically ask for your bank info, name, birthdate and all the identifying peices of info. I usually delete them, but depending on my mood, I will respond that I am forwarding this email, and IP address included to my local sheriff's department. They stop almost immediately. If you do suspect that someone has your info, immediately notify the authorities. They can help you from there.

Hi, I have received many emails stating you have won some million. For first time i got this mail i replay to them and given the details of me. After a week they ask to pay an amount for handling and process of the money. Then i realize that these are scam and trying to get our identity and also be called for phishing on us. So don't bother about it and live happy.

yes a lot of times, this is 100% wastage of time to respond to such emails. Now they even sending messages on mobile of winning, and a lot of peoples loosing their hard earned money in hope of getting dollars or ponds. so if you are not replying to these emails you are doing a smart job.

Yes I receive one time before, and a lot on text messages, in the first place, if you did not join any contest, how could you win? These are all scam on different flavors so just ignore all of these or any similar approach to fool you. It's just annoying that they keep on sending and just fills you inbox.
