Why is it so hard to make a living? I am worn out

October 22, 2009 4:45pm CST
I have been trying to make money for along as I been on the internet. And that is very long time. Why does come so easy for some people? What do they get that I am not getting? I always hear that it takes money to make money. What do you do if you are not making any money at all. My goal was make money off the internet and turn around and reinvest it to make more money. But I keep losing more than what I am earning. I want to be able to invest in something that I know will get me a return on my investments. I am at the point where I am willing to spend my life's earnings on something that will work and give me more money in return. But I have found nothing. I am frustrated and tired. And I two children who are suffering along with me. What more can I do?

hi there st... i am not fond of putting out money before even earning it... yet i have done it a few times...I have a site where i compiled all the sites I make money from and I have to say like you i have been making money fromt he internet for some time now..but only these sites have truly brought in the cash... the link is in my profile page below my avatar... But you also can make money from writing quick reviews (100 words) like you do in Ciao there's a great money-making site I know, and it's free.. I have a payment proof in my site as well.... You get paid for writing short reviews about products/services/people... they pay 50 credits (50 cents) for 100 words -- that's pretty easy..and you could easily do that in less than 3 minutes... you also earn 10 credits (10 cents) for grading products/services/people... and 1 credit (1 cent) for rating products/services/people... when you have 2000 credits ($20)-- you can request payment via paypal and they pay really fast.... it only takes about 3 days to earn 2000 credits ($20)... so an extra $20 every 3 days added income aint that bad if you have the time for it.... if you have more time..you can earn even more... just be patient if your comment is pending...it doesnt take more than 24 hours for the credits to be added to your account...mine usually is approved iin 12 hours it's the Green and White banner in my profile page (imreport) --below the Paypal banner..a truly legit site ..one of my faves!!! might wanna give it a try...good luck!!!!

I feel your frustration. It has taken me several years to build my online earnings to the point where it equals that of a part time job. I don't believe it comes easy to anyone, if they say it is easy, they are not being truthful. Earning online is work, just as much, maybe more, than a regular job. I refuse to invest any money in something that is not already proven, and I mean proven by ME. The best way to start earnng is to read as much as you can about keywords, blogs, etc., until you see your earnings start to increase. Then read some more. What methods are you using to try to make money online?

I am so sorry you are having a hard time. I know it is a time consuming process. I found a job working online. Here is the site www.genuinejobs.com (not a ref link.) I don't make near what I did when working in an office. But it is helpful and best part FREE! You just need an email address. Hope this works for you. It is a list of jobs.

I know how you feel and even I have worked very hard to be where I am right now. I have spent a lot of time and money to finally create a good Internet Business for myself after being scammed by every other Internet website company. When I started I didn't know much about it and that was the real problem. I never spend money without knowing that I will get an assured return from it. I previously didn't have a job because I thought I could make loads of money from Internet without any problem but now I know that you should have a stable real job other than your Internet business.

I have only been doing this for a short tiem and not making much at all. It sure isn't what you can consider a part time job either. I don't think I have been at it long enough for that. Before I found the few sites I am doint, I was on the computer, day in and day out trying to find something to make money from, but to no avail, until I found mylot. It is here that I found froum others legit sites where I can make a little bit anyway. I am glad for that, as something is sure better than nothing nowaadays. I am doing all free sites, and that is the best part as I won't lose any of my own money should they go under. So far from the sites I am doing, I haven't been wasting my time, as I have ben paid, and I am so happy about that. If I hadn't found mylot, I certainly wouldn't have found the sites I am doing. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

It takes time. I've been writing articles for the past 3 months, and so far I've made 70 bucks with eHow. The best thing is, the money keeps coming in over time (even if I don't write anymore articles). Now I get 20 bucks a month with eHow doing nothing basically.

I always thought that the only thing different between me and the people who say are earning money from the internet is that I don't like to spend anything. Like renting referrals, upgrading membership, etc. I know that you don't make money if you don't spend money, but because there are a lot of scams online, I'd rather not spend anything! Yet, this too does not help me in earning a lot.

Well, I didn't spend anything either when I was writing articles. And I've earned 70 bucks in 3 months for doing so (for eHow anyway). I did spend 10 bucks on my upgrade for Clixsense though, and I'm glad I did. I've now made a few dollars more than I invested (and the upgrade is for a year!). It all depends on you weaknesses and strengths, really. What are you good at? I recently wrote an eHow article about the topic that may help you. http://www.ehow.com/how_5560496_set-goals-make-money-internet.html I hope I helped!

stcherry, In the first place, if you are going to fall for every online marketing scheme, then I can only say that you will be at the loosing end at the end of the day. If in real life (offline) out there is so tough, then it will be even tougher online. The thing about making money online is really nothing different from working with a job in real life or doing a business. I understand that the perk of working from home and having your time to spare with your family is certainly an attraction but the question is can you really make it. I feel that you will really need to understand the situation around and ask yourself if there are actually any viable opportunities for you online. I mean let's be honest and look at most of the get rich schemes, is there any difference with getting a sales job offline? Then, there are the writing sites, where every ounce of your effort is being paid in cents. When and how far do you need to go to reach a dollar? So, is there a difference to a typist/clerk post in the office? Since you mention that you have 2 children at home and guessing that you are a single parent, I just do not think that it is advisable to go fully into the online money making lest you really have a niche or fool proof guarantee of making it. It is really not as easy as what is being sold or told. Take care and have a nice day.

A couple of weeks ago, I heard about an american college graduate fulfilled his target to get a position in all of the states. His conclusion is to get along well, one must be of positive mind, accepting jobs disregarding hardship, and I believe in the first place, he has the qualification from his educational and work experiences. Therefore, start learning something to get the basic skills, and try to accumulate more experience from life and work. Good luck!

Well alot of it is referrals an some people are better salesmen than others, an thats basically what getting someone to sign up is selling them or pitching a product to them.

Most of my high earnings are usually from writing valuable articles. I've made 70 bucks so far with eHow. I also recently started writing for Xomba, Associated Content, and Helium. I love to write, so writing articles had worked for me.
