I have yet to renew my registration. The last vote I cast was over 9 years ago. What's keeping me is the thought that I will have to spend an entire day on queue. Cheers!

Hi there! I just spent around 45 minutes in Comelec yesterday. It was organized in Muntinlupa City. Sorry, but are you renewing your registration or just moving to another precint? Because i think if you have registered already, you don't have to renew it again. You just show up to your designated voting area during election day.

hello.! yeah, it's so hard to choose 'coz we don't really know if they can improve or help our country 'coz even now, they are our public servants and yet our country doesn't have any improvement I think. I just hope who ever wins the election will truly help our country to get better.

I went to the registration area as early as May to get the form... then went back the following month to submit it and have my picture and finger prints taken... i didn't want to wait the last minute because i know for sure that the lines will be longer and it will take a long time for the process to be complete... and i was right about that...

Hi there! In our area, it doesn't take that long to get registered but I guess in places like QC, it would be busier. I believe they extended their office days until Sunday this week.

It is good that you took the initiative to exercise your right to vote and to promote that change that seems unattainable. But if Filipino voters get wiser and vote for a truly deserving leader, then we are on our way to become a better nation. I have always participated in the elections and though I have not seen any changes and might seem to get depressed of the government's ways, I will not lose hope and still cast my vote for every election because every election is an opportunity for change.

Hi ayenacsi. Like you, I still believe there are people out there who want to serve our country sincerly. I don't know when they will show up... but I know they will. To all Filipinos, I hope we do not lose hope.

Yes I am a registered voter ages ago LOL. I have voted in all elections after I got registered. I still go to same presinct which is nice because there are not too many people in that presinct ao I get to vote and finish early. I have moved from one barangay to the next but I still have not transfered. This wil be my second time to vote in the old presinct but I am not a residence there. I guess it's still okay.

That's weird. They shouldve taken a picture of you. I think for those who have just registered this year, the ID would be available after 40 years. HAHA!

I've been registered voter since the automation started. Registration that time was terrible we need to be early in the line so can be included in the quota of the Comelec. We been there at 2:00 am and the line was very long you need patience because some people don't fall in line. We are there up to 12:00 pm and it is not a joke to be there too long just to wait your turn for registration. I get disappointed to them because up to now my Voter's ID was not there. Sometimes I'm realize my registration was useless because I don't see change in our government.

Congrats on your registration!! I have been a registered voter for 6 years now.. And my first voting experience was during the presidential elections. It's fun voting, specially the first time, because it makes you feel that you have done something for your country, no matter how small it may be. may all of us vote wisely this coming 2010 elections.

Now you are a registered voter, you are burden to make the right decision in poll election. I think next years election is gonna be different, there are a lot of active newcomers from youth sectors, any way i have been voting for like 3-4 times already and i am an active member of Local Comolec Board of Canvassers. But as you should know we can not do it all by ourselves, we need help from different sectors specially the youth.
