my girlfriend is stubborn and sick. she is also trying to make a dress. i want to make it for her, but she will not let me! how do i convince her to let me help her? p.s. she is sitting next to me right now

By the way, on your post it seems you don't know the reason why she won't let you do the help thing. The only way to solve it is through conversation, ask her the things you want to ask and be careful with your words because more words means more mistakes. But you know what, if you want to help her, the best thing you can do is to amuse her while she is working.

Stubborn, huh? Lol. I'm not really sure. Try to offer her a deal she couldn't refuse. You are her boyfriend. You should know her weak spots. ;)

mcfuddy do you know the l east thing about sewing or cutting out material or putting the piecesof a dress together? no wonder your girlfriend is stubborn it would take her longer telling you how to do it,than just doing it herself. if you really want to help her and she is unwell.then get her a cup of coffee or tea and sit down and talk to her. We woman know most men do not know one end of the sewing maching from the other so we are not going to let you mess it up.
