I remember one morning when my 6 year old child was getting a bath and suddenly called my name saying that the soap fell into the toilet bowl. I said get it, he just looked at me and it was the funniest expression I've ever seen. He just can't believe whether I'm serious or not and he just wont budge LOL. Have you experienced taking a bath and all of sudden the soap fell out of your hands straight into the toilet bowl? given that the toilet bowl is empty would you get the soap in it?

I do not think lifting the soap out of the bowl would be very healthy, though the toilet bowl in my house is kept very clean even then, when a child is around I do not think that piece of soap should be re-used at all.

Then you pick it up and throw it away- do not use it.

The last time that happened to me... it was a good thing the soap was already small... so i just left it there for a few minute then flushed it... but i think even if it is still big... i wouldn't dare take it out and use it again... i would leave it there then use it to clean the toilet bowl... although i know that is not the right one to use... still it will leave a good smell on my toilet bowl...

If you've used much of it then who cares. But if you've just opened it wouldn't you have second thoughts? I think a family size soap can clog up you toilet. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

This also happened to me when my son had the soap fell into toilet bowl. The soap was new and it's a family size soap. I took the gloves and immediately got it from the toilet bowl (of course it's empty LOL). If it's already small i will not get it, i'll just flush it and it will be gone. But this big one-- i know it will clog our toilet bowl and we will be in trouble -- yucky but thank suffer from a clog toilet bowl.

The first time i tried it, I had goose bumps LOL but i have no choice, i just opened it and I'm afraid if I will not take it out its going the clog the toilet. That would would be so much trouble. I told my wife and she poured hot water in it that it melted the soap LOL. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

It the soap is small enough to be flushed out then that's fine. But if it's just been opened and is big enough to clog the toilet, then I would certainly pick it up. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

I've never had my soap fall into the toilet bowl but if I did I probably would get it out. It probably wouldn't be able to flush so I'd grab something to get it out. I might not do it with my hand though. Unfortunately I have grabbed into a clean toilet bowl to get my favorite pen that I accidentally dropped into it. I guess it depends on the toilet. If its clean then probably yes but it if dirty or something then probably no.

I would have to take the soap out of the toilet bowl, but I certainly wouldn't use the soap any more. We have lots of stuff falling into the toilet bowl, knock on wood, not the soap. LOL
