Book Sales

Does your town or library have book sales?
I am lucky enough to live in a place that has two book sales a year. And when I say book sales - I'm talking a warehouse as big as a library with books DIRT CHEAP! It goes on for 4 weekends and each weekend the books get cheaper. I went last weekend and got some really great deals. This weekend is the last weekend of the book sale, which means there probably won't be a lot left but what is left will be really cheap.
Have you ever been to a book sale like this or similar?

There is a book sale at my local library, but the library is quite small and they have few books compared to the big library. My husband and I had a look at the books for sale when we where there, but we didn't find anything interesting, and we didn't buy anything.
Some years when I was living near the big library they had a huge sale. The library was going to move to another place, and they wanted to get rid of all the old books. We could buy a bag full of books for $5 or something like that, so it was really cheap. The place was extremely crowded, and it was a bit of a nightmare to move around in the room, because there were people everywhere. But it was worth it, and I found got some really cheap books

Hi Jennlk, I wish we did, I'd love something like that. As it is there isn't even a library. There are certainly no such things even as discount book stores. Here books are an expensive item and imported if in English so even more expensive. Oh to be let loose in a warehouse as big as a library full of cheap books, they could lock me in for the full weekend.
