well, I don't know much about halloween as I do celebrate most of the time the All souls day and when it comes to halloween party I live it for the children to have fun like doing their trick or treat and other costume party. For adults it rarely happen unless you belong to an organization and hold a halloween party that you could spend a lot..Under the constraint of a need to save you could escape it as it is your decision anyway nobody could influence you.

Yes I think it's more practical. We don't even celebrate Halloween much here. We do it all out in Christmas. haha

i think christmas is much more meaningful than halloween so i think you are doing the right thing. i just think halloween is just a big candy grab but christmas is spent with family and friends and is about giving and receiving.

Yes you are. in my opinion christmas is a much better season to celebrate. if i were to choose i would choose a celebration of the birth of Christ than a season of scaring people.

That sound sensible, although I have never spent anything at Haloween anyway! When my daughter was little, I used to make costumes out of things that we has around the house, and for parties I used to cut out witches, cats and bats etc. from black paper and card. I made witches wigs using old tights and strands of wool. Half the fun is in the making things.

You are absolutely doing the right thing. What is Halloween anyway? A non-meaningful holiday where we send little kids door to door in order to obtain candy? Christmas is a much more valued and important holiday, in my humble opinion anyway. There is no qualify family time, no meaningful traditions, and so on. By all means, skip Halloween and have a wonderful, fulfilling Christmas with your family and loved ones.

Yes! I think you are doing the right thing. If you can't have both, you have to choose either one that you find are much more meaningful to you and your family, and the most important thing is that you won't have to worry about Christmas because you have planned earlier with the budget and savings.
