The end of October is approaching quickly. Pumpkins of all sizes can be seen everywhere. Many people only see pumpkins as a fall decoration. Others use pumpkins to make their favorite fall recipes. I love to bake and eat both pumpkin pie and pumpkin cookies. What is your favorite pumpkin dessert? Please share!

We make many things from out of pumpkins. Pumpkin sambar, which can be mixed in white rice, pumpkin curry which is a side dish for any thing, pumpkin milk koottu, made adding little sugar and milk and so on.

Sounds very interesting. Do you only eat this in autumn or all year round?

I love pumpkin especially pumpkin pie. When I was young I was able to have a whole pumpkin pie to myself for the holidays because my mom doesn't like pumpkin of any sorts. Another thing that I was introduced to a few years back is pumpkin log, my mother in law used to bring it over for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I would eat almost the whole thing. I went and found a recipe for it but I haven't tried it yet because it sounds difficult so I just wait till the holidays when she comes in but she moved to another state two years back so I haven't been able to have any for two years so I am craving it big time, but I will take any type of pumpkin especially with cool whip topping dumped on the top =)

My favorite pumpkin dessert is pumpkin chocolate chip cookies which are sold at a coffee shop in Amherst. I can't go there anymore, however, because one of the people who works there used to be my friend. He's not anymore because he always wants to marry me which is not going to happen. I've told him this. Now, we're not friends anymore, and I can't go get my favorite dessert.

Hey sender! I love pumpkin everything! But, I don't bake from scratch! I love pumkin bread, pie, cake! I've never had pumpkin cookies, but I know that I'd love them too! If I had some nice pumpkin recipes to follow step by step I'm sure I would definitely try them! I do love to bake! I just never buy pumpkins with that thought in mind! I end up buying store bought pies and never really like the taste of them!

I LOVE Pumpkin!!! I actually just recieved two recipes for pumpkin items this week from a friend. Pumpkin muffins and Pumpkin chili! They're both healthy and really easy to make. I can't wait!! I also love pumpkin pie, but I'm not really a pie maker, so I have to wait until Thanksgiving for those!! Ahh tis the season - to love pumpkin! Oh and I can't forget to mention my favorite pumpkin coffee!!

We try to make as many pumpkin recipes as we can during this season . . . add that extra Vitamin A in our diets (although sweets don't help our diets - hee hee). My favorite pumpkin dessert has to be any kind of pumpkin cake. Pumpkin makes the cake so moist - yummy! I found a recipe on the Martha Stewart site - and it was just divine. I will have to say I love pumpkin soups are my very favorite - but that's not a dessert.

It's all right to throw in the pumpkin soup. We all need a little pumpkin to spice up our diets. The pumpkin cake sounds delicious too. Thanks for your response.

Good old fashion pumpkin pie is always on top of my dessert list. But, pumpkin bread is a close second. Both are delicious. Both can be easily carried to work the next day. Both stay good for several days. They are easier to transport for parties and holiday gatherings that cakes and cup cakes. They have beautiful color that adds to a festive holiday table. I will have to try some pumpkin cookies. I also like roasted pumpkin seeds.
