Sleeping the whole day

I am not accustomed to sleeping till noon, it's just not me. Regardless if I sleep late, I'd still get up at around 7a.m. (the most). But last weekend, I decided to try sleeping until noon, I got a huge headache after that, and was somehow not feeling well all throughout the day. How long can you sleep? What happens to you when you oversleep?

i oversleep when im at home. i usually do that during weekends. on working days i have less sleep and sometimes get dizzy because of lack of sleep. i have tried to sleep the whole morning and i felt like i can move my head. i suffered too much headache whenever i do that.

I tend to stay up until about 2am then i go to bed and hope to be up about 9am not unless i get woken up by the children, that is when they do not have to go to school.Otherdays i still go to bed about 2an but i am up and dressed at 8am.I can not see the poibnt of staying in bed all morning as half of the day has been wasted if you ask me.The only time i stay in bed is when i am ill and i mean really ill.

That's a bit like me, if I have been awake until quite late one day then I still find it difficult to wake up really late the next day, and usually I will get up at my normal time which is around 9am for a weekend. If I have had a late night then I try to get a nap during the day in order to catch up that way instead.

Hello laydee. I remember the most hours I have ever slept is fifteen hours or so. That was a time when we had no power in winter for almost a week every now and then because of the heavy snow disaster in January or February, 2008, a year when we had so many disasters, including the WenChuan Earthquake... It was cold and dark at night with no power, so we had to sleep earlier and get up late in one of those days...
