Where's my long black straight hair gone?

Hello everyone,I'm a 23girl from China.As the subject shows,I'm missing my beautiful hair.
I never had a haircut between the year 2003 and 2006,during my four years college life.You can imagine how long it was.And to be frank,my hair is high quality ones.When I was going to be graduated,I had my hair colored.It's chestnut and badly curled.First,I didn't like the color.Secondly,I felt too bad with that curly hair.People around said that I looked better with black straight hair:(
Anyway,I began to find a job once I graduated,with such ugly hair.So many companies said no to me,because such strange hair.(It really occurred in China!)God,I have no choice,but to have my long,chestnut,badly curled hair cut.
Now,my hair isn't so long as before.It's OK.But the quality isn't so good as before:(
Friends,do you have any good idea to make hair feel better?Which kind shampoo you're using?

Welcome to myLot! When I was in college, my hair was very long, below my waist even braided. I did not cut it short until I was middle-aged. But now I wear it very short. It never got grey though and it is pretty healthy. I use Garnier Fructose Sleek and Shine shampoo and conditioner, but I think good nutrition helps a lot and not curling it. Mine is straight too :-) Now I wear it very short and that is fun because there is no work keeping it nice.

I have just a few white hairs that come and go, but mostly mine is still brown. I have no intention of ever coloring it though. About five years ago I bought silver frames for my eyeglasses, thinking that they would look nice when my hair got grey, but it didn't get grey, Oh, well.

Don't worry, you can keep your hair longer, and you don't need to make a haircut again, and it's good to keep your black straight hair. I like to use Pianrou shampoo, and use Rinse to keep my hair.
