Do you easily get contented in life?

I saw a nice beautiful, cheap cellphone. and i thought it is a shame it does not have a camera. and i thought i don't get contented easily in life. cause most people when they see a good camera phone , they will ask if that has a wifi and other features. it seems that people seem to look for something that they don't have . they always keep looking for something better.
i always thought that i will get contented once i got this kind of phone but once i had that i will be dissatisfied and be envious of those who have better phone with better features of the phone. i feel though i buy the best phone out there i will never be contented. and so i don't bother to buy a very expensive one cause i know that i will not be happy with any kind of cellphone. so it is just a waste of money for me. i just wonder what kind of gadgets that will give some kind of satisfaction and contentment and will be happy owning or buying it,

i think i am the kind of person that can easily be contented & satisfied...coz for me, as long as the thing has served its purpose, like on cellphones, as long as i was able to use it to call & message my loved ones, that's fine with me...
i guess people who gets contented and satisfied with what they have are the happier one...

yeah it is easy to be content as long as you are happy with your life i think we will be happy with whatever we have in life. but i guess some people like me who don't have a good life tried to fill the void within with material things but was disappointed to learn that materials don't actually bring a lasting happiness.

yeah, because happiness that material things brought are all just temporary...unlike those happiness that comes within...
i think if we will learn to appreciate even the smallest thing that we have & what we have & no matter how bad life looks like, we should learn to look on the brighter side, always count our blessings, and be a blessing to someone, i guess that way we can find real happiness & contentment...

yeah being a blessing to other people can give us happiness to. it is better to give than to receive. but it is bad if we don't accept gifts or blessings from other people too. so i hope i get some blessing from others too.

I'm using two mobile phones but both are not expensive. I bought it because of its features(filter).I don't want anyone and anybody calling me so the phone must have filer. Before i always love high end gadgets but once i already have it, a week after i don't want it anymore.
I think It's human nature the we don't easily get contented of what we have.

yeah, it seems that we only like the new gadgets for few days and get bored with it after that. and i feel the cheap items and gadgets give more satisfaction in life than those more expensive ones. at least i am happy to save money from buying those cheaper gadgets and i can use that save money for more important things.

That is why i don't easy buy what i want because i have this changeable mind. Today i like this stuff and tomorrow i want the other one. So, I'm avoiding to get tempted in buying that are not seriously important stuff. Yes, simple stuff are the one that really satisfy us. What really important when it comes to mobile phone are the SMS and calls.

Human wants can never be satisfied. We earn we spend. That is one of human weaknesses. We will only feel contented when we no longer have any money to spend. I have learned my bitter lesson in trying to keep up with the joneses and never seems to be contented with what ever I have. I gained nothing from over indulging. My bank account is in the red and I have to sit and bite my fingers with regrets. I have mellowed down a lot and am contented with an old nokia model as long as it is serving its purpose. Technologies are forever producing new models and we should never be their slave in keeping up with the latest. It will burn our pocket and we end broke.

yeah, i want to earn more to spend more. but still i just want to get some little extra money not a lot. cause i don't plan to buy a lot of things. just few basic things only. and some inexpensive luxury from time to time.

I don't look for cheap things and I don't look for expensive ones, I look for the things that will satisfy me. If I can afford it then I will buy it. If not I usually take a little while to get over the disappointment. Also, I don't spend time looking for things to buy either. I buy things when I get to need them.

Well, I will be honest with you...Having all the material things that I want to have in life could make me get contented but I know that having all those will just be minor happiness of mine...As a person, I still want to have a family that will be there for me all the time--care and love me...though we will suffer a lot and we will experienced difficulties but at least we are together trying to solve it...Also friends whom I can lean on by just those things nothing more can make me contented with my life...

yes at least the money we have can make a little satisfied in life. but love and care from people are what really going to satisfy us and makes us happy in life. without them it is impossible to be happy. actually i feel contented with material things if i have someone to share it with. having it for myself alone makes it so lonely and does not make any sense at all. so i learned it is not how much or how little we have but if we can someone or lots of people to enjoy them with.

contented in life or cellphone?
cellphone for me just have a good sound, cool functional features.. and LOAD! haha it's ok i don't mind having a very low megapixel camera..
life, ill be contented if i can live with my family with a steady income. having breakfast lunch and dinner a day.. sons daughters going to school..bills payed on time... some extra cash for emergency uses... just a simple life...

Thanks but it still a hard to attain it with my condition right now =(... well good luck to us ^^V hope i can have a life that i want it to be .. just a simple life... but i have my own house and lot so it's a good start ^^V

My cellphone is simple, no camera but I am satisfied with it because I have a reliable cellphone that I can use anywhere in the world. You are right, it is a waste of time buying expensive cellphone which costs more than a package of a personal computer.

yeah are right. expensive cellphones are worth a personcal computer. sometimes i think it over if i should buy a camera phone or just upgrade my computer so i will have a faster computer. as we know computer is very much useful and have many benefits than a cellphone. that is why i keep holding back on buying a camera phone.

I just like to say human being is greedy that they never satisfy what they have. If somebody tell you that he is a contented person without much disire, I would like to say he is not a human being already.
For me, I did not care too much about the cellphone function, thus if the cellphonce can play calling and message, that is enough for me. Do you think I am a contented person?
Now I am in the stage of finding my partner for my future life. Some of my friends is questioning what kinds of partner I would like to find. I am just kindding that only if he is a guy would be fine. Is that easy? Every time, I meet one guy and can not help picking the fault from him.

I got a plain cell phone it is only for calling who I need to call when I am on the road. I have a land line I use when I am at home. I think if I want to take pictures I got a great plain digital camera. I don't need all those gadgets I have way too many things to keep track of as it is when we are on the road. If I want to send a text I can do that from my computer I don't need to be on the net when I am on the road. Just a plain anything is good enough for me.

yeah it seems that you are actually with what you have and don't need any expensive gadgets. but when these gadgets are new people were so curious as they were not contented they keey buying and trying the latest.

I used to love to have all the new gadgets but have learned it is a waste of time for me and I don't like waste of any kind. If I buy a new gadget I will use it for a few months and then it is put in the cabinet for one reason or another and there it will stay for how long no one ever knows....LOL. And then my cabinets get filled with stuff that gets pulled out once a year or so.So why waste my money and time with something that will end up a waste?

yes it seems that most gadgets out there in the market will seem just be a waste of money and look more like junk in our cabinet than a very useful gadget it once was. it seems that there are not gadgets that we can really enjoy using for a very long time and that will be worth our money. only few are really useful like cameras if you use it a lot if not then it will just be another waste of money.
