As I red in some articles, having wall papers or screen savers will consume the computer resources to a considerable amount, I will not set then in my desktop screen. I will always have a blank scree. But earlier, I used to have them. Though not very often, I used to change them at least once in a month or when ever I see a new attractive themes to my desktop. As we are not going to see the desktop screen always, I don't have much interest in that also.

I'm not that kind of artistic, my friend. I don't change my default desktop theme. I don't like to change it because doing so is a bit of problem....So I kept it intact for smooth operations of my computer...have a nice day!

Yup! I do agree with you friend. Choosing to many is so confusing sometimes that is why I stick to my default theme...

I may be the odd man out here as everyone discussing about changing wallpaper every now and then, I use to put an automatic wallpaper settings using some tool and it use to change my desktop wallpaper every minute or every 5 minute or so. But now I dont like any desktop wallpapers as it takes a lot of power and thinking about the environment, I stopped putting any wallpaper and my screen will be completely black. I love black screen as it is good for my eyes too.. :)

Wow, that means you change your wallpaper everyday! As for me, sometimes it could be just in a few days or weeks, then only I will change the wallpaper. Normally, it will strike my mood to change the wallpaper when I am browsing some of my album photos in the computer. I will simply set one of the photos as the desktop background, which I love viewing at that time. Just yesterday, I made a 'snowman' using the paint program and when I was satisfied with the result and my hubby said that it was pretty, I automatically set it as the wallpaper. Right now I am thinking of making a 'Christmas tree' and if it looks fine, it will end up as the background as well. So, basically, I will change my desktop's wallpaper because I know the changes will make me happy and based on the season especially Christmas.

Hardly ever! I changed it once or twice when I had a lovely photo I wanted to see more. But usually I don't see a lot of my desktop. I always have a number of files open, so I wouldn't spend a lot of time on the general desktop wallpaper or theme settings.

Wallpapers are clothing for your desktop. Nicely dressed up person is admired by all. I prefer desktop with motivational words. I love those. Even i have used the same set of motivational thoughts as screen saver for my personal computer and laptop. Usually i prefer desktop theme which is light color and doesn't hide my icons within design and hard colors.

I used to change my desktop wallpaper every chance I get but I haven't been in the mood to change anything. I do have a lot of photos to choose from so that's really not a problem. I feel too pre-occupied to even change my wallpaper.

Almost never. I think I have been online like 11 years now and I have changed my wallpaper maybe 3 times. I don't do it very often, I can figure out how to do it, but at the moment I don't remember how to do it and while I could easily find out I just don't find it worth my time to actually find out and do it. I am on line pretty much to earn money so anything that does not earn me any money is not worth doing to me.

I change mine when ever my mood changes. Then again I change everything when my mood changes from the books I read to what I blog about to what my thoughts and oppinions are about news and politics. I've even had people tell me that I change the way I write (different slants, different formates, ect...)

I also find different wallpapers give me different mood when working on my computer. Usually I would choose something tranquille because it calms me down from my work. Sometimes I try funny or amusing pictures just for a laugh.
