During my childhood days, I always admire those people who were tasks to do some infrastructure on the road. Especially those who assigned to built bridges and roads because without these maybe we find it difficult to go from one place to another. Those people who were known as labourers. The labourers who also called as the blue collar employees. Aside from admiring them, I always say to myself that they are so genius enough because they know how to read the guide, drawings and the procedure how to build those bridges. Maybe without them and their knowledge, bridges somehow cannot be build accordingly. In addition, I also admire those who did the layout of the drawings for those bridges. Their creatitve minds thought of it and drawn before it was handed down for construction. Maybe if they did not pursue to lay down the drawings and ideas for these bridges, somehow these infrastructure cannot be build and no drawings can be follow on the construction. However, thoughts passes to my mind, who should have the high paid job - like in this - the one who did the layout of the drawings or those who put it into construction that does the actual work and action?

Our society values paper credentials a lot. There is a tendency to pay people with diplomas and certificates higher than those who are just depending on their skills. But there are some places that are exemptions to this practice. The people who are earning a lot are farmers, laborers and technicians more than white collar jobs. Unfortunately, where I live it is more of the former.

Very well said. I agree with you. There are some place wherein they give a quite high earnings on the skilled worker rather than the non-skilled workers. However, maybe they have more demands on the skilled works rather than paper works or desk job works.

its a very difficult thing to answer but my option goes to blue collar jobs because without the white collar job holders drawing the designs also they can build these bridges with their experience... mostly the whit collar job holders have studied the theory but the blue collar job holders gained the experience through practicals..

Hi airasheila. Well, its good to know that you curious to know about this. Even its just become a common things. But yes we can questioned why some people get high salary even they not do a hard job while others that do all the hard job and only get low salary. What can I say its not about the job they done but their education certificate. That what makes their salary high.

Type of work and responsibility makes the differences in the job and salary . And Business demand/supply formula also works in this matter , persons those are in more demand and supply is less in the market then obliviously they will get good compensation.
