the weridest one i heard was wolfgaang. he was a music producer. back when he was a child:
mom said"awwww it's a baby boy..."
dad said"i know! lets call him wolfgang!"
what kind of person calls his son that?

Okay I think I have this sewed up. Female - pronounced like tamale. I met the lady probably 25 years ago (yes I personally met her). She said the nurses named her baby. So this poor beautiful girl went through life with the name of Female. I still often think of her and wonder if she ever changed her name when she got older or if she embraced it. Still I think it is horribly irresponsible of people not to take naming a child seriously. We agonized over our children's names. We looked at what the initials spelled, how you could mispronouce it, if there were any silly rhymes with the name, etc...... I see children with names that don't even spell anything. It's like the parents just put a bunch of letters together.
