For those of you who have a website or blog and have made banners to advertise with I need your help!! I use traffic exchanges from time to time and they will give me so many hits on my banners but I don't know how to get them hosted so I can list them. You have to have a specific url just for the banner and they also want the url address where clicking on the banner will take you. I just don't know how to get my banners hosted so I can get the url for the banner only. I can't put it on my website and do it that way because I don't get a url specifically for the banner; it is only added as an image with a hyperlink. Please help me if anyone can tell me how to do this. Especially for free. It seems like I googled for "free banner hosting" before and found a couple of sites that claimed they would host my banners for free and it seemed to work for a week or so and then something always happens. I am really losing a lot of advertising by not being able to list my banners. Please help someone.

Just upload your banner to photobucket.com or tinypic.com and copy the url to it...that will be the url for just the banner, then you put it with the url to the site in a code and you are set.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. The simple things elude us most often. Thank you so much again

You are very welcome! I know what you mean though, starting a new site is sometimes very frustrating and confusing. I'm still working on my site...its called chickenteeth.org and I have yet to make a banner or anything because my trial version of Photoshop just ran out! So I'm stuck just posting on a plain-looking site, but it's okay haha. Yeah, if you have any more questions feel free to ask me and I will give you an answer or find it for you.
