Liverpool lose to fulham.

In the first half (a part from a goal from nothing )Liverpool were the only team in a game which deteriated dramatically in the second half, to chants from the fulham fans of "we want 4".
Liverpool finished the game with just 9 players left on the pitch. A very sad day for Liverpool fans. O
Once Carragher gets back from his ban, and others become fit I think that we will all see the real Liverpool..........

Rafa's position is going to get untenable now. I think one more defeat and he is out especially if it happens in the Champions Trophy. It was poor performance from Liverpool especially after Torres had dragged them back. I think Rafa is to blame for that as he withdrew both Torres and Benayoun with Liverpool in control. Once these two were subbed, Fulham took charge!!

I agree to his protection of Torres, but yes that Benayoun substitution was mind boggling. Fulham just dominated Liverpool after that. But what is more worrying to me is the amount of money he has spent over the last five years to bring in sub-standard players to Liverpool.

Hi ram,
The news that Torres is carrying an injury, possibly a double hernia has to be taken into account and Rafa must be given respect for trying to protect the player, though why (undoubtedly our best player of the season) Yossi Benayoun was substituted at that time then only Rafa knows. I do have to say that he was having a quiet game at Fulham.

We, the Liverpool fans, are very sad these days. I mean we thought that winning the derby the way they won it, Liverpool could get back to the level the have showed up. I think that Liverpool depends in what Gerrard and Torres do, even though they shouldn't. I think that Rafa has to bring one or two players that can fill the spot Xabi Alonso left. I believe De Rossi may come. Could work although Aquilani is about to play. We'll see, i think that Liverpool should bring players that can help Steven and Fernando in the offense. Hope we can make it. We have to beat Lyon now in France, so we need to get over this lost.

Liverpool have shown how good they can be of late, defeating manu 2-1, but at the moment we do lack consistency, but people must realise that there is a lot of injuries through out the squad. Liverpool will stand up and give a good account of themselves as the season progresses.

I am very downhearted about Liverpool at the moment. We have lost way to many games this season. I am not overly keen on the manager, so wouldn't be disappointed if they got rid of him. I think he should be doing a lot better with the team we have got

I think that Rafa has had a restricted and self financing budget over the last few years which he has had to stretch to grow a squad, unfortunatly this squad has not fully matured and some of the buys have not paid off. This bad patch seems to be part of a necessary process needed to heal the bigger problems at Anfield. The owners don't seem to have given full financial backing to the manager, but while he is willing to try to work around these problems, then they seem content to verbally back him....
