Christmas is 1 1/2 mos. away...

I'll be doing about the same as last year; but, it is going to be more difficult to accomplish this year. It is not the money; but, the lack of time. Last year, our company was letting us off work early an hour or two a couple of times a week during December. This way I was able to go shopping and still get home when I normally would and no one knew I had been out shopping for presents. I would just sneak them in the house later when no one was looking. This year, our company has stated that no one will be let off early; and, I am on a new shift that gets off work at 6 am. There aren't many places that are open at 4 am or 5 am to go Christmas shopping even if our company changes it's mind about letting us off early! So, this year my problem will be finding the time to do the shopping without my family tagging along or knowing exactly what I am doing.

I do not usually go overboard anyway. I am always in search of that perfect present that is loved and enjoyed, no matter the cost. I have no idea what to get most people. Socks for my sister in law as she admired some of mine.

i really love christmas and cannot wait! my hubby lost his job in august so christmas will be a little lean this year, but i have been creative and am making a ton of gifts so that will help! i shop all year round for christmas and start the day right after!
