During my childhood days, I always want to follow. I just want to be a follower, I am always hiding inside my box. I am always thinking that I cannot do it alone unless somebody guide me or lead me to start it. As I cannot live a far from my home, from my family. Since they are the one who leads me to move. However, time has come that I need to work far from our home. I need to be alone and be far with my family. I need to live own my own. Time has passed by, I need to be courageous enough to face the reality, that I am working far from my family, from my home. Aside from that, I need to go out inside my box. In order for me to overcome the shyness and have more confidence to face others. Slowly, I was able to move and progress. I am really thankful to God for leading me and guiding me to go through with all of these. For without him, I cannot do anything. And because God leads me, He also develop and showed me that I am also born to be a leader aside from being a good follower. How about you - Will you say you are a Good Follower? or a Born Leader? or maybe Both?

I think I am a born leader actually. Never really got into that whole following thing. I have always worked things out on my own, and would come up with ideas to improve the situation if needed. I tend to find people coming to me for advice all the time. When I saw this I even asked one of my friends if she could ever picture me as a follower. She laughed and said, "You? Never!"

I think that I perhaps could be considered both, although sometimes I am viewed as a loner. It is because I do well at stepping up to the plate, making a decision, and getting the job done. The only problem is, I have trouble delegating work. Or if someone does something wrong, I am not one who is very good at scorning others. I just go in, and do it right. Or I show them how to do it right, but end up doing it myself. So, I do much better when I am just working on my own.

Like you, I'd been a good follower too before. With my experiences however in sales with much recognitions and promotions, I feel I can be a leader as well. From that time on I feel I must be a good a leader as I feel like others I'm a born leader too. Though I know, experiences teach us to become good leaders.

Well I wish you luck on your struggle of making it on your own and leading your own life. It really is a great feeling to be independent. Keep in touch with your family though often. It is great support to still stay close to the people who love you and talk to them often. Then you can never feel to alone. I feel that I am a leader in life. I had a child at a very young age and took up responsiblity from there. I try to be different from the crowd and not always do things the way every one else does. Anyhow great discussion topic! I hope everything works out for you in life!

Hi, I am good follower. and i thing nobody is born leader. Beacause in childhood we following our family. Then after few year we follows society and friend. When we enter shcool, we try to follow teachers. But certain stage come in life where we have to take your own decision. At that time we cant follow others.

A combination of both perhaps. Your strong points will make you a leader while being a follower will eventually develop your weak points to strong points.
