Firefox is indeed faster than explorer if you use DSL/wired connection, if you use wireless i suggest you try explorer, they have different configuration and just lately i found out explorer is better through wireless internet connection.

I'm glad you said that. My firefox has been a disappointment lately and I couldn't understand why. I'm using my laptop and a wireless connection and IE works better than firefox. Now I know why, thanks.

Firefox is always better than IE even before, even if IE added some features same with firefox, still Firefox edges IE in terms od speed and customization. Although IE is improving IMO, I think I will still choose firefox, it's cool.

I find Firefox faster than IE. It has more features also. You can customize it with add-ons, and even create your own themes for it.

I don't think that Firefox could beat IE that easy. As long as people still use Windows operating system, they still continue to use IE, no matter what. The users of Firefox are mostly IT-minded people, such as programmers, system engineers, IT Consultant, etc. But, "usual" people, they don't know much about the difference between Firefox and IE, as long as they can view a page on a website, it is enough.
