Made A Sale On My Squidoo Lens

I use to use Squidoo a fair bit but never really made much money. Money wasn't the goal though. The main goal was to get indexed quickly and to link to my money making pages.
For me it's all about generating quality clicks through to my sites.
I went into Squidoo last week and found that I needed to do some work and almost immediately my traffic picked up again.
I guess I better get in there and update my other lenses.
Do you Squidoo?

Sort of like dropping in on an old friend, huh? It always pays to drop in on Squidoo once in a while. I always notice an increase in traffic when I update and add content to my lenses. You should put a link to your Squidoo profile in your MyLot profile so all your friends can visit your Squidoo lenses. Get some traffic back and forth. I use Squidoo as one of my money makers and like MyLot, it's really enjoyable for me to use and create content on. [;-)

Congrats on the sale! I remember my first sale on squidoo and it was a great $$ boost. If you have a unique product squidoo is a great place to make some money but unfortunately everyone is selling something. But like you said, great place to get some traffic to your blogs and websites.

I have several Squidoo lenses. I genuinely like Squidoo!
Oddly enough, I get traffic to my blogs through other people's Squidoo lenses (where my 2 blogs are listed), not my own. ;)
I do not earn much money from my Squidoo efforts, but I hope that will change in the future.

That's an important point about Squidoo and blogs for that matter. Your traffic doesn't always come directly from your own pages but from the listings and comments on other lenses and blog.
If someone adds to the post or lens I will usually take a look at their link and once I get there they have a targeted visitor most likely.

I love Squidoo!!! I have over a 100 lenses there. I use it mainly for my homeschool stuff, but I am starting to branch out in other areas. Congratulations on your sale. My sales were starting to pick up there, but now they have leveled off. Hopefully they will pick up as we near Christmas.

I just signed up to Squidoo. It wasn't really about earning money - even a small amount - to me. It just looked like a fun and simple way to write about the things that interest me. I've only made one lens so far; but I definely want to build more.
