Hi, I think there is no good reason to ask everybody this question. The only one who can answer is you. No ordinary person go for an M Tech. If you have a plan of doing research or having a PhD its best to get an M Tech degree. If you think you have the enthusiasm and you can give sufficient effort to your academy still after studying for so many years you can certainly do your masters. Job has a different aspect. If you go for a job there is a high possibility that you will be completely detached from your academy. But your life will be more stable and comfortable. You won't have to think about funding, which is a major concern for most of the M Tech and MS pursuer I know. The choice is entirely yours. You should make the decision yourself, of course, after careful consideration on what best suits you, not on what is best in market. God bless you

Hi,kush,my opt is M.Tech, because you can get job any time, but you can't complete post graduation after sometime. The same situation was in front of me,25 years back[1984]when i completed BSc[Agriculture],i had the options-appointment letter as Agriculture officer in one hand and selection letter for MSc[Agri] in other hand. Then after discussing with my elders,i opted for Post graduation. Now i had many offers as i did P.G.Of course, now i started my own consultancy[self-employed]on biodiesel crop,Jatropha. http://www.newjatrophaworld.com All the best and go for P.G.,if you don't need job immediately to lead life.

Hi,friend,I think after Bombay,Pune, there are many chances at Hyderabad in Pharma sector for biotechnology graduates. Our field is completely based on Agriculture subjects like AGRONOMY,PATHOLOGY,ENTOMOLOGY,Genetics and Plant breeding[my specialization in P.G.] Of course,Biotechnology students who studied tissue culture, formulation process of bio-pesticides etc related subjects, for them i can help surely. My main job is farm activities of Jatropha plantations,i.e advises on sowing, irrigation, fertilization, pest control etc and for that i charge x per hectare. In the coming days we get in touch for further...have a nice time.
