my sister had trophies from her swimming and she displayed them on her chest of drawers If you really want to thrill him, have his dad put up a special shelf in his room - or even in the main part of the house JUST for trophies - also, if he ever gets in any kind of article cut that out and frame it.

So happy that he got a trophy because and he is learning a valuable leseeon of working for what he wants and also team play and getting reard for work done .You could buy him a trophy case and make it big enough so he knows that you expect him to get more and it will serve as motivation for him to work and fill up that trophy case.

Hi Aunty, no need for a case, it will take away his fun of walking round with it to show it off.

Trophy Shelf - A portion of the shelf which holds my daughter's trophies and medals.
I will probably have to get trophy cases soon. My daughters have brought home a ton of trophies. My 16yo daughter has a double closet. We took then sliding doors off of it because they weren't running smoothly. It opened the room up and made it a bit bigger. She uses the shelf of this closet to display her trophies. It is full. Now she is getting trophies that are too tall to fit on this shelf. A trophy case might be in order but it would have to be as big as her closet. I think we will need a special trophy room pretty soon. My younger daughter has a lot of trophies too but she hasn't been participating as long as her older sister, and really only participate in one sport, whereas 16yo participates in two. The older daughter's trophies are attached.

CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR GRANDSON!I know how elated and enthusiastic your boy has been! For a young child like him to have the first taste of victory and receiving the most coveted trophy, I know words are not enough to explain the boy's excitement. He worked hard for it and he deserved it! Buying a case? Ha!ha!ha!You really are funny, but you can always do!

Hi Jo, He needs a shelf with a glass door to start collecting his trophies.I wish we had kept all the trophies my husband got when he played soccer. I still have the medal he was given when he went as a player for our country to the World Cup in England in 1966. Congratulations to the little player and a big hug to you!

Congratulations to your grandson. I am sure you are really proud of him but i don't think he needs a case. He should display it on his table so that anytime he sees it, he will remember his achievement

Telling your grandson that your proud of him and by going to his soccer team tells him enough but it wouldn't hurt to buy a trophy case for those future trophy's. It's good to spoil your grandkids.

Well I can understand your proud feelings Antiquelady. As a new grandfather, I also feel this kind of things. I always thought that I will not like grand children, since it will make me feel old. But guess what, I have not showed such love on my own daughter and son. My wife is worse than me, when my grand daughter comes and stays for a couple of days and goes back to her house, she looses her good mood for the next couple of days, thinking of her. Yes, we grand parents are going to spoil our grand children, so what, it makes everybody happy. Go Ahead buy him a case for the trophy.

I'm so proud of your grandson! I know he was very happy after all the worrying he did about it! He just worried in vain, didn't he? I'm the same way, myself. It might be a good idea to buy a case for his trophy but it might be kind of expensive, lol. Kathy.
