Hmm, Korean music is not that popular to adults. Their target audience are teenagers because their artists are hot, not to mention most of them look too good to be true. I don't know why people listen to it and I don't know why I listen to it but if you like some catchy tune and hot performers then you can find it in K-pop.

Kpop lover here. I accidentally started listening it after I watched a Korean movie( don't remember it's name). I think the first Korean artist I found was Rain. After that Se7en, Shinhwa and so on.

I like Japanese music more then Korean. Korean is too sexy for me like latino music. If I found some interesting korean music group I will listen and watch her.

Well, It's really hard for me to find Japanese music styles, other than j-rock and j-metal. I prefer more dance styles like pop and RnB/Rap. The closest thing to that are Arashi and Kattun(not so close). What music gender do you prefer?

You're right! Some of their songs are catchy that even if you don't understand the lyrics, you'll still get hooked. For instance, I like 2ne1's Fire, SNSD's Run Devil Run, Super Juniors' Sorry Sorry or Rainbow's A. Although I disagree on your comment regarding adults not appreciating korean music. I think they also appreciate it especially the korean OSTs.

I love K-pop. Even though I'm from the Philippines, this one korean boy group made me like kpop. Now I'm learning Korean language by myself, because of my love for kpop. Hehehe. Thankfully I can read Hangul now. Next target, be able to use Korean language fluently. :)

I like kpop. i have to agree that their performers are hot but they're also talented. and since they are called idols they try to be good examples to their fans which is a good thing. i don't understand the lyrics but that doesn't matter, somehow just listening to them makes you think you get what they are trying to say.

I enjoy listening to Kpop music but I'm really not up to date on it at all. I like the older groups like H.O.T., SES, FinKL, 1TYM and such. The think the only new group that I'm listening to is Big Bang and I'm only listening to a few of their songs. But I heard that Se7en is going to make a comeback soon so I'm looking forward to that since I like his music.

I don't know also why I like Korean music even if I don't understand the lyrics. They music is much different to us and I agree that there singers are good looking. There fashion is also new to us that's why many teenagers now a days want to imitate there styles.

Oh, I do. Actually, their target is not only teenagers, but adults as well. Every talent agencies must have a ballad singer or a ballad group. The Ahjummas are their target. As for modern boy&girlgroups, their target are the younger ones. I've been a listener to korean music ever since the first group was created which is 'kiss'. Up until now, I still listen to korean music :)

I do! My friend introduced it to me. She is a HUGE fan of KPOP! She quickly influenced not only us but other schoolmates. We like U-Kiss, SS501, Shinee, Super Juniors. We're even gonna attend the free mall show here in our country. It's before our graduation and we're really excited about it. We're all screaming out of excitement!
