How do you get information about parenting?

Your parents are your first teacher,and the best,maybe.you seems kind of a little nervous,it's unnecessary.Guidance of parenting,these books will be a good teacher.and there are plenty of baby and parents class,attend these class maybe a good idea.Be care,my friend.

The first thing that I do is use mylot. This is because I have been here since more than one year. And I had chosen this 'parenting' option since the time of signing up. But I was not much active there. But then when I was on the verge of feeling the need of getting information about parenting, I started to look into the discussions here more carefully. You know only mylot is more than enough to know the ins and outs of what and how you should cope with the different situations. There are so many fellow memebers giving so sweet solutions and advices that you can afford to come here and read all of it and moreover the discussions started too are sometimes to you own expectations. So, you can read those responses and get the solutions for your own problems too.

Hi there, i have daughter and she will be turning two on Tuesday. She was the only one and i also want her to be raise a good child. Its hard for me because i am a first time mom. So usually i read books, magazine (there is magazine here about parenting) I am reading this magazine since i was pregnant and its really helpful. Aside from this i also learned from other people experienced in raising their children. Keep on mylotting.

I am a single dad of 3, eldest son is 6, 2 daughters 2 and 1. In my opinion theres no such thing as infomation about being a parent, its all about bringing up your kids with the value's that you think are important. A good or bad parent is different in everybodies eyes, dont worry just bring your kids up how you got brought up with the values that you hold. To give you an example I personally am not religious so am not bringing my kids up with religion but I do believe that everybody deserves respect so thats the values I am bringing my kids up to adhere too.
