Many claim to be Christians, yet they dont have proper perspectives in their spiritual life. I ask you to discuss things that really matters to you.

Hi Hazelrose, I wanted to tell you that it is possible for people to be complete Christians and still not belong to a church. There are many Churches out there who are preaching but not teaching God's Word. There are also many 'Sunday Go To Meeting' Christians out there as well, they think that if they show up at Church on Sunday, that it makes them good, and it makes up for all the bad they do all week. Of course I think that the fellowship that comes with attending Church is good, and that there are also many good Churches out there. But it does tell us in the Bible that the Church is the people, not a building.

hello hazelrose, yeah it's true that we have to worship and serve God for the rest of our lives. We have to give him not our leftovers but our full devotion and dedication. God bless

Hello aaguelo. I have known, loved and served my Father God, through the Lord Jesus Christ, for 51 of my 73 years. In that time, He has been my constant Companion and my Everything. Years ago I wrote my purpose and have it printed here on my study desk and other places. I'll share it with you: MY PURPOSE: My purpose for being is to know God personally and intimately; to be a channel through which He can show the world His loving nature; to "lift up" the Lord Jesus so that HE can draw people to Himself; to be His instrument in continuing the work of Christ on earth. MY CHALLENGE: If there is no fruit in my life, there is no reason for my existence. MY GOAL: My goal is to follow faithfully: whatever, wherever, whenever. The goal of every Christian should be to allow the indwelling Holy Spirit to so work in the life that He is constantly molding us more and more into the likeness of Christ.

Incredible response that summarizes the purpose of the life of a Christian. When we completely live our lives for God first and foremost, everything else falls right into place. When we have that priority in place, our relationship with others will be right and our actions will match our beliefs.

The Bible teaches us that the most important thing is to love one another.

The only thing you want to look into as the most important thing would be your personal relationship with God. That is the overall most important thing that we should all be looking into. No matter how active you are in going to church every Sunday, if you do not have that intimate relationship then you are at lost.

Jesus gave us two commandments (and summed up the 10 commandments with these two), to love our Lord God with all our heart, soul, and strength; and to love others as we love ourselves (Matt 22). I base my walk on these two things. I try to glorify God in everything that I do, all the while letting his light shine through my life and into the lives of others (Matt 5).

Very true. That is Jesus Christ simplifying the 10 commandments right there! We just have to follow Jesus, those two things he commanded us. Let others see Jesus in us. Love is the greatest gift that God has ever given us, and it's the best gift we can share to others as well.

I think the most important thing in life is to love God and others. All things we do should fulfill that order.
