I went to Pearl Harbor in Hawaii. It was a sad place to go with an interesting history. It got bombed during World War II. I have been to concentration camps: one in Germany, one in the Czech Republic and two in Poland. In World War II around six million Jewish people were killed. They were incredibly sad places visit indeed. In the Netherlands I have been to Anne Franks house, the girl that wrote a diary whilst hiding. I have also been to Corrie Ten Booms house. She rescued some Jewish people so she was a lovely person. I have been to see the Mayan ruins in Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. I love to go to historical sites. I went on an exciting cave trip. I had to swim and do much climbing. I saw Mayan pottery and old bones. I have snorkeled in Belize to see nurse sharks and sting rays. I have been to see the opera house and the harbor bridge in Australia. So therefore I have seen many unique places.

You've been to a lot of places. It is true that Pearl Harbor is a historical place. This is the US base for military. I saw the movie of Pearl Harbor. It is much related to the bombing in the World War II.

Yes, I love traveling and have been to many different places in the world. Pearl Harbor became known after the bombs hit it during World War II. I am sure that the military there were surprised that night.

Two places I really loved visiting was Alhambra Palace in Grenada in Spain with all its beautiful Moorish architecture and Gibralta with it's Barbary Apes and network of caves. Other places of interest where I have been are the Canary Islands where I visited Madeira for its flowers, Lanzarote for its volcanoes and Tenerife where we climbed to the top of Mt. Teidi and looked out across the crater which was around 5 miles across and smelled the sulphur of the volcano coming up from the depths of the earth. - Derek
