I just love WalMart because you can save so much money. It is also convenient to shop for groceries and clothing or shoes all in one place.

I feel fortunate that I don't have to shop at Wal Mart. I cannot condone their unfair labor practices. Most of their employees live in poverty. I do understand that the economy makes things hard on families and they have no choice. I choose not shop there.

I'm sure my prospective is different, as I do not see what goes on. But you are correct about the economy.

Are those your kids in the pix? Children can be very expensive, and we all shop to save a buck right?

also with regards to saving money, i do my grocery shopping at No frills as in my small town which only has a IGA (they inflate their prices so badly and blame it on having to pay more for the trucks coming farther with supplies) for our 4 person family, paying the 10 dollars in gas to save at least 50 on our weekly grocey shop is defienetly worth it

we dont have walmart it's self over here we have Asda which is part of the Walmart family. Asda is pretty good and does save money (i think Asda is now the uk equal to walmart)

I love Walmart too. They have just about anything you need, and the prices are always low. So many people complain about Walmart, but I think most everybody shops there, whether they admit it or not. You can't tell me that Walmart got this big with just us poor folk shopping there.

i noticed the condiments, or like deodorant, soaps, shampoos and tp and paper towels are like 1/2 price compared to the grocery stores. i even buy a shirt or sweater every time i am there cuz they are usually 8-10 dollars.

i totally agree with you on that one, also trying to find a parking spot that isn't 5 miles away. i live in a rural area, and there is a walmart in a smaller town about 12 miles from me that seems to never be busy like in the big city.

I don't love Wal-mart. It's OK. You do save money because they are cheaper but what you save you spend on something else you had no entenion on buying. Me I never stick to a list. I watch in wanting to only buy maybe 10 things and walk out with 25-30 things.

I agree with you on that. You go into WalMart with a list for shopping, and leave with twice as many things. I don't shop there every week, we go once a month and stock up.

My husband works for wal-mart, Not all there stors or DC treat there employees like dirt. There a very big company and employee over a million people you are going to have issues with a company is that big. But they are not the only company out there that has some issues. Its just there the biggest so they get talked about the most. My husband has worked for four different companys in the north east all big companys and wal-mart treats there employees better then 3 out of 4 of those companys.

My mother-in-law used to work part time at WalMart. Heck, she even received stock. I'd say that's pretty good for part time employees.

i have also heard bad things regarding Walmart with regard to employess and admit i still shop their sometimes but try to support other stores. because i live in canada i try to buy clothes for myself and my children that are made in our country and as closely made to where i live as possible i think the more locally you buy the better for everyone (for kids clothing, please mum is great, unfortunately a little more expensive but if we supporting them more so they could purchase materials in such in larger amounts they would save money and so would we so its all about supporting the people who would like to see do good).

I hate Wal Mart. I use to work for them. They do indeed treat their employees like crap. All of the stores I have ever been are really nasty and disgusting.
