What the heck is this world coming to? Woman fakes breast cancer

I just saw this article on aol! I can't believe it but a woman faked breast cancer to get money raised for breast implants! She says it's to save her marriage! Now my one question is, has she not heard of that one website where you can post pictures of yourself scantily clad and get men to give you money for breast implants?

I think it is terrible and I really hope that she will never have to suffer the real thing
I do not know what the world is coming to, it is like the one about the Mum who made her Son go through operations and making him stay in a wheel chair and that just so she could claim money for him
I really do not know what People think of when they do this, why can't they just be grateful for their Health

I heard about this and couldn't believe another one. I remember some years back some lady did the same thing but I think it was just to get the money, not to get fake boobs. I can't believe she would reduce herself to such a thing just to get bigger boobs for her husband. What low self esteem she must have to go to such lengths. As for the world with all that is going on I seriously think its coming to an end very soon. There is just so much more wrong in the world then good. Its a very scary world we live in these days.

I remember hearing about a case a few years back as well. It's always sad to her about this. I think her husband actually left her (annulled the marriage) once he found out she was in jail and for what! It's sad that she even resulted to shaving her head but I wonder how she carried that out without her husband, friends or family realizing it. I suppose she could have worn wigs around them.
In any case, I think that the world is going a bit crazy but I don't know that it is coming to an end. Either way, I don't like thinking about it.
I think we should all do what we can to be nice and honest as well!

Personally nothing shocks me anymore. I have heard of someone from Canada who people even know from Yahoo groups, who faked Cancer to get sympathy and money from things, and they even had her come on a Talk show, and confronted her about it. Many times people just never stop and think about others who might really need the help, and often only looking out for themselves. It is Sick.

I do not think I have heard of the lady from Canada who has done this. It is sad to hear cases like this though and I have heard of other cases like this. I wish that people would stop being so greedy or whatever causes them to lie so, but I fear it will never stop. From simple lie to an extravagant one, no matter we all should work on being truthful!

Money is the magic lamp. So if one does n't get it in the proper way, people go to any extend of getting it.
It depends on the mental make up and upbringing one has. So she is not the only one and the first one to go and try such tricks for getting easy money. More than half the world belongs to her class.

It is sad but true that so many people stoop to such levels in order to get money, for whatever reason. Her reason is especially sad, especially after the news of her husband filing for an annulment after finding out what happened and that she was in jail. I do wonder how he didn't know she had shaved her head! She must have worn a wig around him. Poor Fellow, his name as her husband is now marred because of her actions and the publicity it has caused!
