Polygamy means marrying of many partners by a single one. Do you think this system is good or is it against your beliefs and cultures?

I am not for it but I have nothing against people who want to practice that type of lifestyle. So, in essence, yes, I can lend my support to those who want to practice such kind of things by choice and not by force. I prefer monogamy but to each his own.

Though I love polygomy, I still have to stick to monogomy, due to social and legal regulations. Polygamy should be legalised, in islamic religion it is legalised, many times I thought of converting to islam because it supports polygamy. But the modern medican says polygamy invites, aids.Your comments is appreciated...

Call me conservative but I'd rather have one man on my own and not being shared with others. In Muslim practices, a man can have as many wives as he can support and I just don't understand why. Truly, the ratio of man to a woman is not 1:1 but this does not mean that women must share the same man. I ask my Muslim friend about this practice and she also disagree with this but there's nothing she can do about it because it is her culture, it is like having a legal mistress. I wonder, if that man really love her wife, then why must he take another wife?

Disregarding cultures and beliefs I will stick to being monogamous. No matter what I do I really can't love two or more person at the same time equally I can only give equal love to my parents, siblings and maybe my future children because the love I have for them is different from the love I give in my future wife.
