How many of you are reading the book of Revelation in the Bible?

Over and over again, people have said the world was supposed to end because the bible and religion said so, and so far it has not. On 6/6/6 nothing happened. I was told by religious people (unsure of what religion) that the world would end on November 9th of this year...it is now November 11th and we are all still here. And this kind of behavoir has been going on for years, about prophecies and the apocolips, and none of it has happened. So I don't see why this one would be any different. I do not mean to offened you or your religion, it is fine to have faith and I respect that. But please don't try to tell people the world is ending because your religion says so. There are many people out there who are not religious and do not appreciate being told these things, especially since there is no proof or science behind it.

The bible has been written for 2000 years, and many famous and intelligent people have read and studied it, but to no avail. Nothing has ever been proven,and nothing has even happened that would suggest there was any truth to the myths and fables contained therein. A beekeeper of my acquaintance, places a religious symbol in each of her bee colonies. She maintains this placement keeps the bees healthy and safe, but her success is no better than her neighbor who does not pertain to the Christian Philosophy. In this case its obvious that she is placating herself, rather than her bees. There is no doubt in my mind - religion is a fad. Intelligent people who can think for themselves have no need of a religious crutch!

It is quite interesting when reading the Book Of Revelations how you can continue to see all of the things that are starting to happen around the world all lining up as predicted there. It makes you really wonder how much more time we do have, and for me it continues to give me the desire to want to stay right with God as well. Time is getting short, and I wonder how many will ignore it until it is too late?

I've read it before and its kind of hard to understand, you have to really pay attention to what your reading, but I do agree with you, some of the things it talks about in the end times are happening now, it just makes you want to be prepared and ready when it does.

I've read it before, its disturbing to those who don't know Christ and its wonderful to those who do.
